Abstract

Aceh Jaya is one of the districts in Aceh Province that has great potential in various sectors, such as agriculture, plantations, and tourism. In the Aceh Jaya District Development Plan (RPK) Book 2023-2026, it is stated that the unequal distribution of infrastructure development in Aceh Jaya District in 2023-2026 has resulted in low investment competitiveness and decreased economic performance. Because of these conditions, this study clusters regions in Aceh Jaya District based on infrastructure indicators so that groups of sub-districts are obtained based on the level of infrastructure development. The method used in this study is clustering analysis by comparing it with two clustering methods, namely K-means and average linkage, which are validated based on the silhouette coefficient value to see which cluster is the best. The results obtained are the Kaiser-Mayer-Olkin (KMO) value of 0.611, which indicates that the sample is representative of a total of eight variables; for the zscore value, there is no outlier data, which means that the data of the eight infrastructure variables can be used entirely. Meanwhile, the clustering results using the K-Means method resulted in 3 clusters, and with the Average Lingkage method resulted in 2 clusters. This means that Aceh Jaya District can be clustered into 2 clusters, as seen from the silhouette coefficient value of 0.736. The conclusion that can be drawn from this research is that infrastructure development has not been evenly distributed in the 9 existing sub-districts, so that strategies and priorities are needed in infrastructure development in Aceh Jaya Regency.

Abstract

Telaga Tujuh Village, located in West Langsa Sub-district, Langsa City, on the eastern tip of Aceh, has a very high population density. In addition, 373 housing units in the village do not meet the technical criteria set out in the Minister of Public Works and Housing Regulation No.02/PRT/M/2016, and the city has limited access to critical infrastructure. Based on seven criteria, including building regularity, neighborhood road network, neighborhood drainage, drinking water needs, wastewater management system, waste management facilities and infrastructure, and fire protection facilities, Telaga Tujuh Village is classified as a severe slum, with an average slum rate of 100%. Discovering the structural needs of the slum environment in Telaga Tujuh Village and creating a structural design is the objective of this study. Five indicators - on-site upgrading, on-site relocation, on-site redevelopment, land sharing, and relocation - were used in the communal housing methodology in this study. On-site redevelopment was chosen as the minimum solution after the five indicators were selected using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. After on-site redevelopment, the settlement pattern in this area is in the form of an iron grid, with main centers-the construction of places of worship, village halls, auxiliary health centers (pustu), and village offices that function as government and community service centers-and supporting centers-education and neighborhoods-by providing public open spaces.

Abstract

Aceh Besar Regency is the primary access and entrance gate to the provincial capital, directly adjacent to the city of Banda Aceh. This proximity positions Aceh Besar as a buffer from the city. The strategic location and position make Aceh Besar an opportune area for rapid growth and development. Thus, developing these strategic areas will foster the emergence of growth centers (Growth Poles). This research aims to determine and analyze the impact of the spread effect on the public market between Aceh Besar Regency and Banda Aceh City as a potential sector that can encourage economic growth and have a spreading effect on the surrounding area. The analysis method employed in this research is a quantitative approach utilizing descriptive analysis. The results of the research show that the results of the gravity analysis of sub-districts in Aceh Besar Regency and Banda Aceh City show that Want Jaya Sub-district as the primary growth center has the greatest interaction value with Darul Imarah Sub-district. The last sub-district is one of the sub-districts in Aceh Besar Regency with an interaction value of 76,525,776,000. Furthermore, the largest interaction values after Darul Imarah District are Krueng Barona Jaya District and Montasik District with interaction values of 15,062,514,047 and 11,831,506,347 respectively.
