Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning using the Discovery Learning Learning Model. This study is a classroom action research that uses four steps, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were elementary school students. The data for this study were obtained by test and observation techniques. Tests are used to measure learning outcomes and observations are used to analyze teacher and student learning activities. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive statistics by comparing the results obtained with indicators of research success. The results of the study indicate that the Discovery Learning Learning Model can improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning. This can be seen from the increase in the percentage of student learning completion in each cycle with details of the pre-cycle 40.89%, the first cycle 68.87% and in the second cycle increased to 90.32%. Thus, the Discovery Learning Learning Model can be used as an alternative to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tentang pengembangan pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam yang menarik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi literatur, dengan menganalisis berbagai penelitian, teori, dan sumber informasi terkait topik tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mendesain pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) yang menarik di ruang kelas memerlukan pendekatan yang kreatif dan variatif. Dengan memanfaatkan teknologi, media visual, serta metode yang melibatkan partisipasi aktif siswa, pembelajaran menjadi lebih dinamis dan menyenangkan. Selain itu, pendekatan berbasis pengalaman, pengintegrasian materi dengan kehidupan sehari-hari, dan penggunaan penilaian yang beragam dapat membantu siswa menginternalisasi nilai-nilai Islam dengan cara yang lebih aplikatif dan menarik. Pembelajaran PAI yang menyenangkan juga tidak hanya bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap ajaran agama, tetapi juga untuk membentuk karakter yang Islami dan relevan dengan tantangan zaman.

Abstract

This study aims to Improve Student Learning Outcomes in Islamic Education Through the Problem Based Learning Model. This study is a classroom action research that uses four steps, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were elementary school students. The data for this study were obtained by test and observation techniques. Tests are used to improve student learning outcomes in developing a character of mutual respect and observation is used to analyze teacher and student learning activities. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive statistics by comparing the results obtained with indicators of research success. The results of the study indicate that Learning through the Problem Based Learning Model can improve learning outcomes. This can be seen from the increase in the percentage of completeness of improving student ability results in each cycle with details of the pre-cycle 45.54%, the first cycle 78.57% and in the second cycle increased to 89.57%. Thus, learning through the Problem Based Learning Model can be used as an alternative to improve student learning outcomes.
