Abstract

This research explores the application of the Whale Optimization Algorithm (WOA) in designing Finite State Automata (FSA) for advanced pattern recognition systems. Pattern recognition plays a crucial role in various fields, requiring high accuracy and efficiency. Traditional approaches to FSA design often face limitations in adaptability and optimization. By integrating WOA, a nature-inspired metaheuristic algorithm, this study aims to optimize FSA structures to improve recognition capabilities. The research process involves implementing WOA within the FSA design framework, testing it on multiple artificial pattern recognition tasks to assess effectiveness, and comparing results with other optimization methods. The findings reveal that after 10 iterations, the WOA achieved a best score of 14.01% error, indicating initial progress but room for further improvement. At 50 iterations, the performance plateaued, maintaining a score of 9.43% error, suggesting a need for additional exploration of the parameter space. However, by 100 iterations, the WOA produced a significantly improved score of 0.0022% error, demonstrating a highly optimized solution as the parameters converged closely to their target values. After 100 iterations, the error value did not decrease any further, indicating that the effective iteration count for optimization is 100 iterations. These results highlight the effectiveness of WOA in enhancing FSA performance, showcasing its potential as a robust solution for complex pattern recognition needs. This study contributes to the development of intelligent recognition systems, advancing the state of the art in pattern recognition technology.

Abstract

Perilaku seks bebas seperti itu jika tidak seimbang dengan pemahaman akan bahaya penyakit akibat perilaku berisiko ini akan mengakibatkan kemudahan tertular penyakit berbahaya. Salah satunya adalah infeksi HIV / AIDS yang sampai sekarang lebih kompleks dan dalam situasi yang mengkhawatirkan karena jumlahnya terus meningkat terutama di daerah perkotaan. Berdasarkan permasalahan ini, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis orang yang terinfeksi penyakit hiv sehingga dapat memudahkan kesehatan dunia untuk mengetahui ada brapa orang yang terjangkit virus hiv dengan perkembangan teknologi informasi saat ini sangat bermanfaat bagi semua kalangan. Begitu juga dengan dunia kesehatan, maka kini teknologi informasi telah menjadi salah satu kebutuhan yang paling penting, teknologi informasi dapat memudahkan manusia dalam mengetahui segala informasi. Dalam penelitian yang dilakukan oleh Asosiasi Riset Kesehatan hiv virus di Lampung, kasus HIV secara kumulatif di Provinsi mencatat bahwa ditemukan 1.578 orang sedangkan untuk AIDS sebanyak 629 kasus. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penyakit HIV / AIDS merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan yang paling umum. Salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan untuk memprediksi penyakit HIV / AIDS adalah dengan menggunakan data mining. Data mining adalah serangkaian proses untuk mengeksplorasi nilai tambah kumpulan data pengetahuan yang belum diketahui secara manual. Metode untuk menganalisa data dalam aplikasi data mining adalah Knowledge Discovery in Database (KDD) yang terdiri dari beberapa tahap, yaitu Pembersihan dan Integrasi, Seleksi dan Transformasi, Data Mining, dan Evaluasi dan Interpretasi.

Abstract

Information system security is very important to maintain the validity and integrity of data and ensure the availability of services for its users. COBIT Framework - COBIT is an IT governance guide framework and or can also be referred to as a supporting toolset that can be used to bridge the gap between needs and how technically it is to fulfill these needs in an organization. COBIT provides a framework guide that can control all organizational activities in detail and clearly so that it can help facilitate decision making at the top level in the organization. The Institute of Technology & Business (ITBis) is one of the educational institutions that relies most of its teaching process on information systems, and information technology as a means and infrastructure to provide services to students, lecturers and all staff as well as assist the implementation of activities in all existing units.

Abstract

Utilization of computer technology makes processing of data and information can be done quickly and accurately. Advances in technology and information also provide many conveniences in processing inventory data. inventory of goods is the recording of data related to goods or assets that exist in the organization. Institute of Technology and Business (ITBis) Lembah Dempo has not fully implemented an information system for data, especially in inventory processing. This study aims to design an inventory information system that will be used as an effort to increase the efficiency of computerized inventory recording that can be implemented at the Institute of Technology and Business (ITBis) Lembah Dempo. In designing this inventory information system using a prototyping system development method and a database designed using an ERD (Entity Relationship Diagram).
