Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan pilar utama dalam pembangunan sebuah bangsa. Lokakarya Komunitas Belajar merupakan kegiatan yang secara khusus membahas bagaimana mewujudkan pembelajaran serta ekosistem sekolah yang berpusat/berpihak pada murid. Kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari Program Sekolah Penggerak Angkatan 3 yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan masyarakat dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dampak kegiatan Lokakarya Komunitas Belajar 2 sebagai bagian dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat di Kabupaten Simalungun. Metode pengabdian menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif dan kualitatif dengan melibatkan berbagai pihak, seperti guru, orang tua, siswa, dan tokoh masyarakat dalam proses evaluasi. Hasil dari pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan Lokakarya Komunitas Belajar 2 berhasil menciptakan ruang dialog dan kolaborasi yang memperkuat hubungan antara sekolah dan masyarakat. Melalui berbagai kegiatan seperti diskusi kelompok, simulasi, dan permainan peran, peserta dapat berbagi pengalaman, pengetahuan, dan solusi terkait pendidikan. Pengabdian ini juga membantu memperkuat kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya peran aktif dalam mendukung pembangunan pendidikan.

Abstract

This study examines the validity of the Consumer Dispute Settlement Agency’s (BPSK) authority in handling banking disputes, as reflected in the Supreme Court Decision No. 253 K/Pdt.Sus-BPSK/2017. The aim is to analyze the legal scope of BPSK’s jurisdiction over conflicts between consumers and financial service institutions. The research employs a normative juridical approach with a descriptive-analytical method, using secondary data from primary, secondary, and tertiary legal sources. The study is library-based, with legal documents as the primary source. Data were analyzed qualitatively using descriptive analysis. Findings show that arbitration-based banking dispute resolution falls under the authority of the Financial Services Sector Alternative Dispute Resolution Body, as regulated by Law No. 21 of 2011 and POJK No. 1/POJK.07/2014. The Supreme Court concluded that BPSK has no absolute jurisdiction over banking breach of contract cases, thus annulling BPSK’s decision in the case in question. The study highlights the importance of institutional accuracy in dispute resolution to ensure valid legal protection for involved parties.

Abstract

The 21st century, teachers as educators must be responsive to change. One crucial aspect for an educator is how a teacher responds to changes through small innovations in their workplace..The Community Learning Workshop 1 of the School Empowerment Program (PSP) Generation 3 in Simalungun Regency convened at SDN 091440 Manik Hataran, Sidamanik District, Simalungun Regency, engaging 20 teachers. This workshop served multiple objectives: educating attendees on pertinent learning, knowledge, and teaching practices; fostering collaborative support among practitioners; particularly assisting novice members to seamlessly integrate into the community; and mentoring them in their tasks. Furthermore, it encouraged skill dissemination and growth among members through discussions and practical teaching practices. The workshop exemplified a concerted effort to enhance educational practices in Simalungun Regency, emphasizing the importance of collaborative learning and community support in advancing education.
