Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of personality types based on the Big Five Theory of Personality on the creativity of Generation Alpha. This is a quantitative ex post facto study conducted at SMP Negeri 19 Kota Bekasi. The sampling strategy used is stratified random sampling, resulting in 128 samples from 27 classes across three grade levels. Data collection involved questionnaires with the Big Five Instrument (BFI) for personality and a self-developed creativity instrument that has been validated and reliable. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that there is an effect of the personality traits openness, conscientiousness, and agreeableness on the creativity of Generation Alpha with a significance value (Sig.) (p < 0.05), while there is no effect of extraversion and neuroticism on creativity with a significance value (Sig.) (p > 0.05). The obtained R square (R²) is 0.416, indicating that the Big Five personality traits (openness, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness, and neuroticism) account for 41.6% of the variance in creativity, while the remaining 58.4% is attributed to other factors

Abstract

Religious literacy is an important aspect of education for Generation Z to adapt to changes in the world. It is considered a key focus in efforts toward sustainable development. The critical thinking, problem-solving, questioning, and discussion skills gained from religious literacy significantly influence the adaptability of this generation, especially when they must conform to societal norms. This research focuses on Generation Z in the Pondok Kopi sub-district of East Jakarta as the subject of study and examines the environment as the object of research. The aim of this study is to analyze the impact of the relationship between religious literacy and the adaptability of Generation Z, as well as to measure the extent of that influence. A quantitative approach was used, involving 83 samples from Generation Z in Pondok Kopi. Data analysis techniques included prerequisite tests and correlation tests. The results indicate that there is a significant relationship between religious literacy and the adaptability of Generation Z a correlation coefficient value of 0.001, which is lower than 0.005, indicating that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Additionally, the Pearson correlation value of 0.349 demonstrates a positive relationship.

Abstract

Pengabdian Masyarakat telah dilaksanakan di Masjid Jami’yatul Khair, Kayu Putih selama satu bulan dimulai pada tanggal 18 November 2023. Masjid Jami’yatul Khair ini merupakan masjid yang dipilih menjadi tujuan pengabdian masyarakat sebagai sentral kegiatan Islami untuk memakmurkan masjid dan memandirikan umat serta memberikan motivasi, dan perlombaan. Pengabdian masyarakat diawali dengan proses observasi masjid guna melihat potensi masjid yang akan menjadi sasaran utama dalam pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat. Program-program dirancang berurutan mulai dengan diskusi kelompok pengabdian masyarakat, serta pengurus masjid setempat, khususnya yang bersinggungan langsung dengan program-program yang dirancang. Pelaksanaan program pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan secara seimbang diawali dengan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, serta evaluasi di akhir program. Hasil yang dicapai dari program pengabdian masyarakat diantaranya meningkatkan kemampuan anak-anak lingkungan masjid khususnya dalam semangat menghafal surat-surat pendek, mewarnai kaligrafi Arab, serta mengumandangkan adzan. Disisi lain, kegiatan ini juga memberikan dampak positif bagi peserta dan masyarakat setempat, khususnya jamaah Masjid Jami’yatul Khair dalam upaya memakmurkan masjid.
