Abstract

This study was motivated by wanting to know how the efforts of married couples in maintaining family harmony located in rowotengah village. The subjects of this study were 2 married couples who have been married for 5 years and above. This research method uses a qualitative approach that aims to explain a phenomenon of family harmony. The results of this study prove that married couples in Rowotengah village in maintaining family harmony are accepting each other, being responsible, quality time (spending time with family), always giving news, giving each other support, deep talk (serious talk), not telling problems to others (parents/in-laws). The characteristics of family harmony in Rowotwngah Village are such as Creating a religious life, Mutual respect between fellow families, The quality and quantity of conflicts are minimal, There is a close relationship or bond.

Abstract

As time goes by, women no longer take care of the household but choose to enter the world of work to have a career. As well as career women who work as health workers whose work system uses a shift work system and must always be ready to provide services to anyone who needs it, anytime and anywhere. The data collection used in this study uses observation, interviews. This research aims to find out how the division of roles in the household and also about how to build family resilience for career women.. The result of this study is that good communication is essential to prevent miscommunication. In the family, we must also help each other, help each other in housework, educate children. That way, family resilience will be formed so that a quality family is realized.
