Abstract

Humans cannot live alone so humans need other people to grow and develop, especially in improving the quality of life. One way to improve the quality of life is by joining or participating in several associations or organizations such as the Aktib Humanitarian Charity Forum. The humanitarian charity forum is a forum for social activities owned by residents of the 7 ulu sub-district, to be precise, at lrg. Khotib Palembang city which is an informal organization that provides services to members of the community. The method used in this research is qualitative method. The type of data used is primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results obtained from this study, first regarding program activities carried out by the Fakem Aktib organization include, Providing compensation to disaster experts when Fakem Aktib members have a death accident, Providing services to disaster experts in the form of ambulances, Serving Fakem Aktib members in terms of good events in the form of Invertaris items to be loaned to Fakem Aktib members who have celebrations, during the holy month of Ramadan Fakem Aktib management works together with the management of the blessing mosque to hold iftar together, carry out tarawih, and dawn lectures, hold qurban gatherings with fellow members and the public when the Eid alFitr holiday approaches adha, Carrying out the August 17 competition activities, both in the form of events for children, adults, and mothers. Furthermore, regarding the Fakem program analysis of humanitarian activities in the lrg.khotib community, namely that it is going very well and is very helpful for disaster experts in need. Starting from how to overcome obstacles to active Fakem activities, namely by appealing to members to immediately pay off arrears and invite Fakem members to attend and stay in touch with disaster experts. The Fakem Aktib management structure is carried out on the basis of consensus agreement to form a Fakem Aktib management structure which is formed once a year and holds an annual meeting of Fakem Aktib members every December 25th and receives income from active Fakem members. The community's response to this Fakem Aktib activity was very good and community participation regarding this Fakem Aktib activity was also very enthusiastic. Borrowing invertaris items for wedding celebrations or thanksgiving events all have to pay cash, but if someone gets into a disaster or for a gift everything is free.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the communication strategies used by the Village Head in developing youth creativity in the sport of football. This research was carried out using a qualitative approach and in-depth interview methods with Village Heads, coaches and youth participants in the football program. The research results show that there are several communication strategies used by the Hamlet Head, including providing adequate facilities and infrastructure, facilitating training activities, and providing moral and motivational support to teenagers. Apart from that, the Hamlet Head also utilizes social media platforms to facilitate communication and coordination between various related parties. In the context of developing creativity, it was found that the communication strategies used by the Hamlet Head were able to motivate teenagers to develop technical and tactical skills in the sport of football. Apart from that, positive interactions between the Village Head, coaches and teenagers also make a significant contribution to improving performance and competitive spirit in this field. This research provides an important contribution to understanding the important role of the Village Head in developing youth creativity in the sport of football through effective communication strategies. Practical implications of this research include the implementation of more planned and focused communication strategies to support the development of sports talent at the local level.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Islamic strategic management in increasing the participation of members and bikers at the Regional Jamboree event of the Honda Megapro Club (HMPC) Sumatra. This research is motivated by the importance of applying Islamic values in community organization management to enhance member involvement and participation in organizational activities. Islamic strategic management in this study includes the functions of planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling based on the values of deliberation (musyawarah), trustworthiness (amanah), justice, and Islamic brotherhood (ukhuwah). This study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with HMPC Sumatra administrators and members, observation during the Regional Jamboree event, and supporting documentation. Data analysis techniques included data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the implementation of Islamic strategic management plays a significant role in increasing the participation of members and bikers at the HMPC Sumatra Regional Jamboree. The value of deliberation is applied in decision-making processes, trustworthiness is reflected in task distribution among committee members, and ukhuwah strengthens solidarity among members and chapters. Supporting factors include management commitment, effective communication, and organizational solidarity. However, challenges remain, such as time limitations and varying levels of participation among chapters. Overall, Islamic strategic management has proven effective in enhancing member and biker participation in organizational activities

Abstract

This study examines the tradition of sedekah serabi as a form of cultural charity that embodies and instills Islamic values in the lives of the people of Suka Dana Village, Empat Lawang Regency. The background of this research is based on the shifting meaning of local traditions from practices influenced by animism toward those more aligned with Islamic values, as well as the limited studies linking this tradition to cultural da’wah and the internalization of Islamic values. This study aims to analyze the implementation of sedekah serabi, identify the Islamic values contained within it, and understand the symbolic meaning of serabi in the socio-religious context of the community. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, using data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is conducted interpretatively by linking field findings with theories of cultural charity, gift exchange, and symbolic anthropology. The results show that the sedekah serabi tradition functions not only as a cultural heritage but also as an effective medium of cultural da’wah in instilling Islamic values such as sincerity, gratitude, mutual cooperation, and Islamic brotherhood (ukhuwah islamiyah). Furthermore, serabi as a symbol carries both religious and social meanings, representing simplicity, blessings, and togetherness. This tradition also strengthens social solidarity and the religious identity of the community. The contribution of this study lies in the development of cultural charity studies based on local wisdom and in providing new insights into the role of tradition as a medium for the internalization of Islamic values within society.
