Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) plays a pivotal role in shaping students' Islamic character as a foundation for ethical and moral behavior aligned with Islamic values. This study aims to explore strategies for strengthening the PAI curriculum to foster Islamic character among students. A qualitative approach is employed, utilizing literature reviews, observations, and case studies to identify effective strategies. The findings highlight five key strategies: (1) integrating Islamic values into learning materials in Islamic Religious Education and Civic Education subjects; (2) habituating Islamic character values through daily school activities; (3) empowering extracurricular activities as a medium for internalizing Islamic principles; (4) establishing an Islamic school environment through exemplary behavior of teachers and school staff; and (5) monitoring and guiding students' behavior to ensure character development. These strategies are found to significantly enhance the formation of students' Islamic character, enabling them to navigate the challenges of globalization without compromising their moral identity. This research provides practical insights for educators and policymakers in designing and implementing an effective PAI curriculum.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui bagaimana kebiasaan belajar siswa berprestasi di sekolah, di rumah dan perbedaan kebiasaan belajar pada siswa berprestasi di SD Negeri 050684 Tanjung Putus. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif studi kasus. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa berprestasi kelas III dan IV SD Negeri 050684 Tanjung Putus, guru kelas, kepala sekolah, orang tua siswa berprestasi dan lingkungan tetangga siswa berprestasi. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan catatan lapangan. Instrument utama adalah peneliti dengan menggunakan alat bantu berupa pedoman observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan pencatatan lapangan. Data analisis menggunakan model Miles and Huberman. Tekni pemeriksaan keabsahan data dengan triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Kebiasaan belajar siswa berprestasi di lingkungan sekolah. Siswa tepat waktu hadir di kelas, siswa mengikuti pelajaran dengan mendengarkan, memperhatikan, mencatat, bertanya, konsentrasi dan disiplin dalam belajar. Sedangkan kebiasaan belajar siswa berprestasi saat di rumah. Siswa berprestasi memiliki jadwal jam belajarnya, saat proses belajar siswa selalu dibimbing dan didampingi oleh orang tuanya, siswa selalu menyiapkan keperluan studi pada malam hari dan selalu berangkat di pagi hari. Perbedaan kebiasaan belajar siswa berprestasi yakni terdapat saat belajar di rumah yaitu waktu jam belajar.Kata Kunci: kebiasaan belajar, siswa berprestasi, sekolah.
