Abstract

Planning is one of the most crucial management functions for a da'wah organization, including in planning its office. However, conventional planning frameworks are based on the realities of business organizations, which have very different characteristics from da'wah organizations, particularly in managing offices as the base of their activities. Therefore, an adaptation of the planning framework is needed to be compatible with the management needs of a da'wah office. This study aims to adapt the conventional planning framework so it can be applied in planning for da'wah offices. A qualitative approach is used, with a conceptual study and theory adaptation approach. Data is sourced from literature on planning concepts and da'wah office variables. The results of the framework adaptation are: First, the formulation of goals/objectives must align with the supporting role of the da'wah office in achieving the broader goals of the da'wah organization. Second, the mapping of strategic factors for the da'wah office should match its more specific characteristics compared to the broader strategic factors of the organization, covering both physical and non-physical aspects of the office from internal and external environments. Third, the formulation of strategies and implementation plans for the da'wah office should focus on organizing both physical (Buildings, rooms, and facilities) and non-physical aspects of the da'wah office (Organizational culture, instilling da'wah values, and fostering an Islamic environment).

Abstract

Studi ini meneliti penerapan kerangka kerja manajemen kantor dakwah, khususnya tahap perencanaan. Pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus pada TPQ Al-Ihsan, Waru, Sidoarjo. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, dan wawancara pada pengurus, lalu dianalisis dengan sintesis induktif menggabungkan premis-premis dari data deskriptif faktor strategis internal dan eksternal guna menemukan solusi strategis. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa target kantor dakwah bersifat supporting terhadap ketercapaian target TPQ Al-Ihsan secara makro, faktor-faktor strategis yang dipetakan dan dianalisis meliputi aspek fisik dan nonfisik kantor, dan strategi yang dirumuskan harus mampu memecahkan isu strategis pada aspek fisik terkait penataan ruangan kantor dan nonfisik kantor terkait interaksi antara pengguna kantor dakwah, yaitu guru pengurus, ngaji, santri, dan orang tua/wali santri. Mengingat minimnya studi tentang manajemen kantor dakwah, temuan ini diharapkan membawa implikasi teoretis dan praksis bagi lembaga dakwah untuk merencanakan kantor dakwahnya secara komprehensif, dari aspek fisik dan non fisik kantor.

Abstract

Abstract: IMPLEMENTATION OF ISLAMIC DAYCARE STRATEGY FORMULATION: A CASE STUDY OF ALARIC DAYCARE SURABAYA 2023. There have not been many studies regarding strategy formulation in da’wa organizations, this is because of the history of its emergence originating from the military and then being adopted by business companies. Therefore, it is important to develop ideas about implementing strategy formulation in da’wa organizations to produce genuine and compatible concepts. Alaric Daycare Surabaya is an Islamic daycare that is currently formulating a strategy to achieve targets in 2023. This prompted this research to carry out experimentation in implementing strategy formulation based on strategic management disciplines in a child care institution (daycare) based on Islamic values. This research aims to apply the strategy formulation framework as a tool for formulating strategies at Alaric Daycare. The approach is field research with rationalistic qualitative methods. Applied analysis involves inductively combining factors revealed in environmental descriptive data, with emphasis on the logical relationships between them, with the aim of developing strategic solutions. The resulting strategy is optimizing daycare care and education products, improving the quality of caregiver human resources and effective leadership delegation, enforcing caregiving SOPs, and increasing HR compensation to reduce high turnover rates. Abstract

Gen Z yang lahir pada rentang tahun 1997 – 2012 merupakan salah satu bonus demografi bagi Indonesia. Pada konteks dakwah, Gen Z menjadi objek dakwah yang sangat potensial untuk digarap. Kesuksesan dakwah pada Gen Z akan berdampak signifikan dalam mewarnai masa depan bangsa Indonesia dengan generasi yang berkualitas dan memiliki dasar-dasar keagamaan yang kuat. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan sebuah strategi dakwah yang tepat dan kompatibel dengan karakteristik khas Gen Z. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif-teoritis berparadigma basic research dengan metode sintesis antara variabel fundamental dalam teori manajemen dakwah dengan karakteristik khas Gen Z. Data bersumber dari penelusuran pustaka tentang variabel konsep manajemen dakwah dan Gen Z. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa untuk bisa berdakwah dengan efektif pada Gen Z dibutuhkan produk dakwah yang inklusif, memiliki pertanggungjawaban kuat, tidak dogmatis, memberi pemecahan pada isu-isu kontemporer, dan berdimensi sosial. Penyampaian dakwah yang dibutuhkan Gen Z adalah pesan-pesan yang menyejukkan, menekankan pelibatan partisipasi aktif Gen Z dalam aktivitas dakwah, komunikasi dakwah yang dialogis, dan mengoptimalkan berbagai platform digital seperti podcast, youtube, tiktok, dll. Hasil kajian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi pijakan bagi kajian selanjutnya yang berbasis lapangan sehingga bisa diimplementasikan secara nyata dalam gerak dakwah yang secara khusus menyasar objek dakwah Gen Z.
