Abstract

Efficient and effective employee data management is key to assessing individual performance within a company. This study identifies that the manual methods currently used by PT XYZ are time-consuming and inefficient, potentially leading to damage, loss, or lack of information. Therefore, this study aims to develop a web-based personnel information system using an iterative method and data collection through interviews. The system is built using the React JS framework and MySQL for data storage. Available features include the management of attendance data, leave, transfers, promotions, assignments, rewards, and penalties. The final results of the study show that this system functions well and can enhance the company's performance through more efficient data processing.

Abstract

The employee information system is a collection of interconnected subsystems related to employee data within a company, aimed at providing information on planning, organizing, operations, and decision-making. With technological advancements, this system is designed to manage the collection, processing, storage, and reporting of employee data and can be implemented in various organizations. This research designs a web-based employee information system for PT ABC, a logistics company with 25 employees that currently manages its workforce manually. The system handles recruitment, attendance, leave, and resignation processes, improving data integrity and facilitating management. With differentiated access rights for administrators, directors, and employees, as well as specific features for prospective employees, the system is expected to enhance the company’s operational efficiency.

Abstract

Cybercrime in the form of phishing has become a growing threat among students due to the high intensity of internet and social media usage without adequate digital security awareness. This community service activity aimed to improve students' understanding of phishing prevention through cyber security literacy education at SMP Negeri 61 Palembang. The activity involved 26 junior high school students and was conducted using educational methods consisting of material presentations, interactive discussions, case studies, and simple simulations. The materials covered the definition of phishing, types of attacks, identification of suspicious links, protection of personal data, and preventive measures in digital activities. The results showed that participants experienced increased understanding and awareness regarding phishing threats and digital security practices. Participants were also able to identify phishing characteristics and apply preventive actions in daily internet usage. This activity concluded that interactive cyber security education can effectively improve digital literacy and foster safer digital behavior among students.

Abstract

PT Dwi Sarana Samudra adalah perusahaan yang didirikan pada tahun 2020 dan bergerak di bidang jasa transportasi minyak, berlokasi di Jalan PMD No. RT 12 RW 05, Talang Kelapa, Kota Palembang. Perusahaan ini memiliki visi untuk menjadi penyedia jasa transportasi minyak terbaik di industri, serta misi untuk mencapai pertumbuhan berkelanjutan melalui layanan yang andal, efisien, dan aman sesuai dengan standar tertinggi. Dalam mendukung operasinya, PT Dwi Sarana Samudra terus mengembangkan sistem kerja dan perlindungan armada sebagai faktor utama pertumbuhan. Namun, perusahaan masih menghadapi kendala dalam menentukan pelanggan prioritas secara objektif karena tidak adanya sistem penilaian yang terstruktur. Oleh karena itu, tujuan pembuatan aplikasi sistem pendukung keputusan ini adalah untuk membantu dalam pemilihan pelanggan prioritas di PT Dwi Sarana Samudra menggunakan metode teknik untuk urutan preferensi berdasarkan kesamaan dengan solusi ideal (TOPSIS) yang dapat mengembangkan sistem pendukung keputusan (SPK) yang sederhana dan memiliki konsep rasional yang mudah dipahami untuk Penilaian Pelanggan Prioritas di PT Dwi Sarana Samudra.
