Abstract

Status gizi merupakan permasalahan yang sangat penting dalam kesehatan balita. Permasalahan terkait gizi balita yaitu Gizi Buruk sebesar 0,13%, Gizi Kurang sebesar 1,98%, Balita pendek sebesar 2,61% dan Balita Kurus sebesar 2,13%. Kesehatan dan kesejahteraan balita sangat dipengaruhi oleh pola asuh dan pola makan yang diterapkan oleh orang tua. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Menganalisis pengaruh pola asuh dan pola makan balita terhadap status gizi balita di Wilaya Kerja Puskesmas Saitnihuta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional. Penelitian dilakukan di Wilaya Kerja Puskesmas Saitnihuta pada bulan januari-april 2024. Sampel pada penelitian ini ada sebanyak 134 orang yang dikumpulakan secara accidental sumpling dan cluster sampling dengan menggunakan analisis univariat dan bivariat dan di uji dengan uji Chi-Square. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya hubungan antara pola makan dan pola asuh terhadap status gizi balita di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Saitnihuta Tahun 2024, dimana diperoleh nilai p-value masing-masing 0.004 dan 0,008. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa pola makan merupakan variabel yang paling mempengaruhi status gizi balita di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Saitnihuta Tahun 2024. Dengan nilai Exp (B) sebesar 3,049 maka responden yang memiliki pola makan yang tidak tepat berpeluang 3 kali lebih besar memiliki status gizi kurang. Hasil ini diharapkan akan memberikan kontribusi meningkatkan wawasan dan informasi tentang status gizi balita sehingga dapat meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan SDM terkait pelayanan gizi balita.

Abstract

Queue management is a common challenge faced by primary healthcare facilities such as community health centers (Puskesmas), leading to prolonged patient waiting times and low service satisfaction. One solution to improve service efficiency is through queue management training for healthcare workers and administrative staff. The aim of this community service activity was to enhance understanding and skills in managing queuing systems to create a more structured and responsive service flow that meets patient needs. This community engagement activity utilized a participatory-educational approach and was conducted at Saitnihuta Public Health Center, Doloksanggul Subdistrict, Humbang Hasundutan Regency. The implementation methods included initial observations, training module development, interactive discussions, and hands-on simulations of queue system implementation. A total of 26 participants, consisting of medical personnel and administrative staff, took part in the training. Evaluation was conducted through pre- and post-tests, as well as satisfaction surveys to assess the effectiveness of the training. The results showed that all participants completed the training and actively engaged in the activities. Participants were able to understand the basic concepts of queue management, identify effective management strategies, and demonstrated enthusiasm in implementing changes such as separating service flows and utilizing simple queueing technologies. There was a notable improvement in both understanding and readiness to implement more efficient queuing strategies. The queue management training successfully improved participants’ knowledge and awareness of the importance of effective queue management. It is recommended that similar training be conducted regularly and accompanied by follow-up mentoring to ensure the sustainability of efficient and patient-friendly service systems.

Abstract

Background: The performance of admissions staff is a critical component in determining the quality of initial hospital services. The background to this research stems from the weak management control system and low employee motivation, which impact the inefficiency of administrative processes at Doloksanggul Regional Hospital. Purpose: To analyze the influence of management control systems and motivation on the performance of admissions employees. Method: The study used a quantitative approach with a total sampling of 27 admissions staff. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression using SPSS. Results: The management control system has a positive relationship with employee performance (β=0.320; p=0.076), and work motivation also shows a positive relationship with employee performance (β=0.324; p=0.164). However, both have not reached statistical significance (p<0.05). The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.214 indicates a contribution of approximately 21.4% of both variables to employee performance variation. Conclusion: Although not statistically significant, the management control system and motivation still show a positive relationship and have practical relevance in improving the performance of admissions staff, especially in the context of health services that require accuracy and speed of service.   Keywords: Employee Performance; Hospital Admission; Management Control System; Motivation.   Pendahuluan: Kinerja pegawai admisi merupakan komponen penting dalam menentukan mutu pelayanan awal di rumah sakit. Latar belakang penelitian ini berangkat dari permasalahan lemahnya sistem pengendalian manajemen dan rendahnya motivasi kerja pegawai yang berdampak pada ketidakefisienan proses administrasi di RSUD Doloksanggul. Tujuan: Untuk menganalisis pengaruh sistem pengendalian manajemen dan motivasi terhadap kinerja pegawai admisi. Metode: Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan total sampling pada seluruh pegawai admisi berjumlah 27 orang. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner skala Likert dan dianalisis dengan regresi linier berganda menggunakan SPSS. Hasil: Sistem pengendalian manajemen memiliki hubungan positif terhadap kinerja pegawai (β=0,320; p=0,076), demikian juga motivasi kerja menunjukkan arah hubungan positif terhadap kinerja pegawai (β=0,324; p=0,164). Namun, keduanya belum mencapai signifikansi statistik (p<0,05). Koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,214 menunjukkan kontribusi sekitar 21,4% dari kedua variabel terhadap variasi kinerja pegawai. Simpulan: Meskipun tidak signifikan secara statistik, sistem pengendalian manajemen dan motivasi tetap menunjukkan hubungan positif dan memiliki relevansi praktis dalam meningkatkan kinerja pegawai admisi, terutama pada konteks pelayanan kesehatan yang membutuhkan ketelitian dan kecepatan layanan.   Kata Kunci: Admisi Rumah Sakit; Kinerja Pegawai; Motivas; Sistem Pengendalian Manajemen.
