Abstract

The Healthy Indonesia Program aims to improve the health and nutritional status of the community through health efforts and community empowerment supported by financial protection and equitable distribution of health services. One of the 12 indicators of the Healthy Indonesia Family Approach Program is the growth of toddlers which is monitored every month. Posyandu cadres are the central point for conducting initial screening for nutritional problems through monitoring the nutritional status of toddlers at Posyandu. The aim of this activity is to evaluate and refresh methods for measuring toddler anthropometry at Posyandu Cadres in Lombuea Village, North Moramo District. This activity began with a pre-test on the skills of Posyandu cadres in carrying out anthropometric measurements, then a simulation of how to measure anthropometrically well and correctly was given by the Healthy Village Team. The pre-test results show that it is true that Posyandu cadres still have errors during anthropometric measurements which can influence the measurement results. After being given a simulation on how to measure anthropometrically for babies and toddlers properly and correctly, Posyandu cadres are aware of several errors during measurements and know how to measure well. and true. It is recommended that cadres continue to refresh anthropometric measurements of toddlers so that they can carry out measurements accurately so that assessing the nutritional status of toddlers at posyandu can also produce data that is appropriate to the condition of babies and toddlers

Abstract

Improper waste management, especially in home industries such as noodle factories, can cause environmental pollution and public health problems. This community service activity aims to increase awareness of waste management in home noodle factories in Baruga District, Kendari City, Southeast Sulawesi. The methods used in this activity are interviews, direct observation, education using poster media, and qualitative evaluation. The results of the observation show that the noodle factory already has a Wastewater Treatment Plant (IPAL) and Wastewater Drainage Channel (SPAL), but the management of liquid waste is still not optimal because the disposal of liquid waste is still allowed to stagnate around the factory area. In contrast, solid waste such as noodle crumbs and recycled waste (plastic, sacks, used egg racks) have been managed well; noodle crumbs are given to farmers as animal feed and recycled waste is given to used goods collectors. The conclusion of this activity shows that solid waste management in noodle factories has been running quite effectively, but liquid waste management still needs to be improved so as not to pollute the environment.

Abstract

Teknologi bioflok merupakan salah satu inovasi dalam sistem budidaya ikan yang bertujuan meningkatkan efisiensi produksi, menjaga kualitas air, serta mengurangi ketergantungan terhadap pakan buatan. Dalam konteks budidaya ikan lele, teknologi ini terbukti efektif untuk meningkatkan produktivitas dan efisiensi ekonomi masyarakat pembudidaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan sistem bioflok terhadap kualitas air, pertumbuhan ikan, efisiensi pakan, serta dampaknya terhadap ekonomi dan ketahanan pangan masyarakat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan teknologi bioflok mampu menurunkan kadar amonia, nitrit, dan kekeruhan air secara signifikan, sekaligus meningkatkan kandungan oksigen terlarut. Ikan lele yang dibudidayakan dengan sistem bioflok menunjukkan peningkatan pertumbuhan bobot hingga 33%, penurunan rasio konversi pakan (FCR) sebesar 25%, serta peningkatan tingkat kelangsungan hidup mencapai 95%. Selain itu, biaya pakan dapat ditekan hingga 30–40% dan produktivitas meningkat hingga 47%. Penerapan teknologi bioflok tidak hanya memberikan keuntungan ekonomi, tetapi juga memperkuat ketahanan pangan dengan menjamin ketersediaan sumber protein hewani yang berkelanjutan dan terjangkau bagi masyarakat. Kata Kunci: Teknologi Bioflok, Budidaya Lele, Efisiensi Pakan, Ketahanan Pangan.
