Abstract

The development of Islamic religious education is very important for the elderly, because at an age that is no longer young, the elderly experience a lot of decline in their health both physically and mentally which causes their souls to shake. This situation can only be handled through the development of Islamic religious education. However, the elderly need spiritual guidance so that their old age becomes more meaningful. The development of Islamic religious education is also very much needed by the elderly to improve the quality of worship in the face of death, because by carrying out daily worship the elderly will increasingly remember Allah SWT.

Abstract

Education plays a vital role in the development of quality human resources (HR), with teacher performance being a key factor in achieving national educational goals. At SDN Gucialit 04 Lumajang, the principal faces challenges in improving teacher performance to create smart and skilled generations. This research aims to analyze the strategies implemented by the principal to enhance teacher performance and their impact on the teaching and learning process. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive approach with a focus on case studies, where data is collected through observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. The findings indicate that the principal has implemented various strategies, including direct supervision, motivation, training, and rewards for teachers, although there are still some challenges in their implementation. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of the principal's important role in improving teacher performance at SDN Gucialit 04, which is expected to serve as a reference for policymakers and other educational institutions in similar efforts to enhance the overall quality of education.

Abstract

Darullughah Wadda'wah Islamic Boarding School has health problems that are more or less the same as most Islamic boarding schools. Apart from environmental conditions, another determining factor is the students' habit of always living cleanly. Clean living education among santri is something that is considered difficult for the santri themselves. Apart from having to compete with school time and religious activities, they are required to be able to manage their own rooms. It becomes a very dilemma, when a student who has the habit of keeping his room clean and tidy because the student is already accustomed to a clean and healthy lifestyle, but ends up being influenced by other students who don't care about cleanliness and neatness. Apart from that, the efforts of students who have clean behavior to remind each other will be in vain when students who behave less in maintaining cleanliness consider this to be a thing of the past because they never correct their bad habits and tend to do whatever they want.

Abstract

This study discusses the strategy of the head of the Hafidzul Qur'an Al-Bukhori Quran Education Park (TPQ) in improving student achievement amidst the challenges of globalization. The focus is on describing the strategic steps and keys to success in implementing the strategy. This study uses a qualitative case study approach with observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The main findings show that the steps taken include monthly training for asatidzah, holding competitions every few months, and special learning for students who will participate in the competition. The keys to success of this strategy include adequate financial support, motivation and moral support from parents, and facilities that allow students to develop their potential to the maximum. This strategy is expected to be able to improve student achievement at TPQ Hafidzul Qur'an Al-Bukhori.

Abstract

The idea of involving the community in the concept of the Madrasah Committee is an initiative in the context of advancing Madrasah, so that there is no perception that madrasah committee as the representative of parents and the community only gives a material contibution. Therefore, to carry out its roles and functions in achieving the quality of education, the madrasah committee must develop plans or programs in order to realize the goals that have been planned with madrasah. This study aimed at describing the quality of education at MI DDI NURUL ISLAM Timika Papua, finding out the role of the madrasah committee in improving the quality of education at MI DDI NURUL ISLAM Timika Papua and also finding out what are the supporting and inhibiting factors for the madrasah committee in improving the quality of education at MI DDI NURUL Islam Timika Papua. The method used in this research is qualitative method with case sudy approach. The result of the research is that the madrasah committee has carried out its roles as Advisory Agency, Supporting Agency, Controlling Agency, and as Mediator (Executive). The Madrasah committe as Mediator (Executive) between the madrasah and the community is the most optimal role. This is due to the shared responsibility between the madrasah and the community as partners in building education. The supporting factors are the similarity in both vision and missions of the madrasah and the togetherness in planning programs of madrasah to improve the quality of education. Meanwhile, the obstacle is that madrasah committee has limited time due to busyness and this is the cause of the lack of coordination between the madrasah and the madrasah committee.
