Abstract

This study analyzed  the impact of the acceleration of women capabilities in creating family income through self-help group based micro credit. The analysis unit of this study are the members of UP2K-PKK (Efforts to Increase Family Income). They are poor women who run productive business.  The samples of  this research are 177 members of the UP2K-PKK in West Semarang. The data is collected using a questionnaire that is delivered directly to the respondents along with in-depth interview. The analysis tool used is multiple linear regressions. This research tests the model that is the family income as the dependent variable and the development capability through self-help group based micro credit as the independent variable.  The acceleration of capability through self-help group based micro credit includes microcredit, training, partnerships, technical assistance , membership. The poor women have individual capabilities (initial endowment) including education, business experience, and membership. To know that the capability development through self-help group accelerates the development of individual capabilities, then the multiplicative variables are inserted.The results of this research show that capability development through self-help group accelerates the impact of  micro credit and initial endowment in creating the family income.

Abstract

The number of startup businesses in Indonesia has increased rapidly from 2013 to the  present. Some succeed, but more fail in the middle of the road. The high potential for failure does not make interest in startup entrepreneurship decrease, but quite the opposite. This study examines what factors drive theinterest of entrepreneurs in the startup business. The interest in entrepreneurship is influenced by many factors, both internal and external factors, including; income expectations, family environment, education and others. The study population was startup entrepreneurs in the city of Semarang. The research sample is in accordance with the statistical feasibility of 30 startup entrepreneurs with the Snowball method. The data analysis technique used is factor analysis. The results of the analysis  showed that various factors that boosted entrepreneurial interest in startups were grouped on 5 factors, namely: the availability of facilities and opportunities, opportunity factors, self-actualization factors, self-ability factors and community recognition factors.Jumlah usaha  startup  di Indonesia meningkat pesat mulai tahun 2013 sampai saat ini. Beberapa berhasil , tetapi  lebih banyak yang gagal di tengah jalan. Potensi kegagalan usaha startup ternyata cukup tinggi . Tingginya potensi kegagalan tersebut tidak membuat minat untuk berwirausaha startup menurun, namun justru sebaliknya. Penelitian ini mengkaji factor apa saja yang mendorong minat wirausahawan dalam bisnis startup. Minat berwirausaha dipengaruhi banyak faktor baik faktor internal dan faktor eksternal, antara lain; ekspektasi pendapatan, lingkungan keluarga, pendidikan dan lain-lain. Populasi penelitian ini adalah wirausahawan startup di Kota Semarang. Sampel penelitian sesuai dengan kelayakan statistic yaitu sebanyak 30 wirausahawan startup dengan metode Snowball.  Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis faktor. Hasil Analisis menunjukkan bahwa berbagai faktor yang mendorong minat wirausaha startup mengelompok pada 5 faktor yaitu: Faktor tersedianya fasilitas dan kesempatan, faktor peluang, faktor aktualisasi diri, faktor kemampuan diri dan faktor pengakuan dari masyarakat.

Abstract

This investigation looks at vital business models to dissect the effect of the utilization of imagination, ecological change and innovative culture on upper hand through the administration of vital assets as a go-between factor. The exploration test was the imaginative economy business people in the city of Semarang, adding up to 54 business people. The example is chosen utilizing certain standards. Vital asset the executives has been demonstrated to be a moderate variable between the utilization of imagination, natural change and enterprising society to increase  competitive advantage.Penelitian ini mengkaji model kewirausahaan strategis untuk menganalisis pengaruh penerapan kreativitas, perubahan lingkungan dan budaya kewirausahaan terhadap keunggulan bersaing melalui pengelolaan sumber daya strategis sebagai variabel perantara. Sampel penelitian adalah para pelaku UMKM ekonomi kreatif di Kota Semarang yang berjumlah 54 wirausaha. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive random sampling. Adapun Kriteria sampel adalah pelaku UMKM kreatif yang telah menjalankan usaha minimal satu tahun dan mempekerjakan minimal lima tenaga kerja. Analisis jalur digunakan sebagai alat analis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan kreativitas, perubahan lingkungan, budaya kewirausahaan dan pengelolaan sumber daya strategis berpengaruh positif terhadap keunggulan bersaing. Manajemen sumber daya strategis telah terbukti menjadi variabel perantara antara penerapan kreativitas, perubahan lingkungan dan budaya kewirausahaan untuk menciptakan keunggulan kompetitif.

Abstract

Permasalahan UMKM yang selama ini dipandang utama adalah permodalan. UMKM biasanya tidak memiliki akses yang mudah untuk memperoleh pinjaman untuk modal kerja. Untuk itulah terdapat skema bantuan modal yang disediakan oleh berbagai lembaga keuangan dan lembaga pemerintah untuk mengatasi permasalahan modal di UMKM. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak bantuan dan pinjaman modal kerja pada kinerja usaha UMKM yang dibina oleh TTIC Kadin Jawa Tengah. Responden pada penelitian ini adalah  UMKM yang telah dibina oleh TTIC kadin Jawa Tengah, yang berjumlah 20 UMKM. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah melalui wawancara mendalam  dipandu dengan kuesioner. Metode penelitian pada penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif eksploratif . Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa bantuan /pinjaman modal kerja untuk UMKM binaan TTIC Kadin Jawa Tengah memberikan stimulus dalam usaha-usaha mengembangkan kinerja usahanya terutama dalam menambah peralatan, melakuakn inovasi , menambah tenaga kerja sampai dengan usaha perluasan pasar. Meskipun tidak secara langsung, pinjaman /bantuan modal telah berdampak positif terhadap kinerja usaha UMKM binaan TTIC Kadin Jawa Tengah.The one of main problem of MSMEs  is capital. MSMEs usually do not have easy access to obtain loans for working capital. For this reason there is a capital assistance scheme provided by various financial institutions and government agencies to address capital problems in MSMEs. This study aims to determine the impact of aid and working capital loans on the performance of SMEs business which is fostered by TTIC Kadin  Jawa Tengah. Respondents in this study are MSMEs that have been fostered by TTIC Kadin Jawa Tengah. The number of respondents are 20 MSMEs. Data collection techniques in this study is through in-depth interviews guided by questionnaires. The research method in this research is descriptive explorative method. The results of this study indicate that assistance / working capital loans for MSMEs fostered by TTIC Kadin Jawa Tengah provide stimulus in the efforts to develop business performance, especially in adding equipment, making innovation, adding labor to market expansion efforts. Although indirectly, the loan / capital assistance has a positive impact on the performance of UMKM business fostered by TTIC Kadin Jawa Tengah.

Abstract

Begitu banyak penelitian terdahulu mengenai pengaruh Good Corporate Governance terhadap kinerja keuangan menunjukkan hasil yang bervariasi . Hal ini menarik untuk menguji konsistensi hasil penelitian sebelumnya dan memperoleh bukti empiris ada tidaknya pengaruh Good Corporate Governance terhadap Kinerja Keuangan Perbankan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Semakin membaiknya sektor perbankan di picu pula dengan munculnya surat edaran Bank Indonesia tahun 2013 tentang pelaksanaan Good Corporate Governance dapat di asumsikan bahwa penerapan GCG dalam di sektor perbankan juga akan semakin baik, dan dapat disetarakan dengan GCG dalam ASEAN sehingga akan mendukung dalam implementasi MEA. Variabel bebas yang mewakili GCG adalah jumlah dewan direksi, ukuran dewan komisaris, komisaris independen dan ukuran perusahaan.  Penelitian ini memilih periode penelitian 2012-2015 untuk melihat apakah perusahaan khususnya perbankan semakin siap dalam menghadapi MEA 2015. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Jumlah Direksi tidak berpengaruh terhadap Kinerja keuangan perbankan. Dewan Komisaris tidak berpengaruh terhadap Kinerja keuangan Perbankan. Sesuai dengan teori, komisaris independen  dan ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja keuangan perbankan.Many previous studies regarding the effect of Good Corporate Governance on financial performance have varied results. It is interesting to test the consistency of the results of previous studies and obtain empirical evidence whether or not the influence of Good Corporate Governance on Banking Financial Performance is listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The improvement in the banking sector was also triggered by the emergence of the 2013 Bank Indonesia circular letter regarding the implementation of Good Corporate Governance. It can be assumed that the implementation of GCG in the banking sector will also be better, and can be balanced with GCG in ASEAN so that it will support MEA implementation. The independent variable representing GCG is the number of board of directors, the size of the board of commissioners, independent commissioners and company size. This study chose the 2012-2015 research period to see whether companies, especially banks, were better prepared to face the 2015 MEA. The results of the study showed that the number of Directors did not affect banking financial performance. The Board of Commissioners has no effect on Banking financial performance. In accordance with the theory, independent commissioners and company size influence the financial performance of banks.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah merupakan sektor usaha yang sangat berperan penting di Indonesia karena UMKM mampu meningkatkan kesejahteraan ekonomi Indonesia. Banyaknya pedagang mikro saat ini telah dapat membantu memberikan lapangan usaha dan mengurangi pengangguran. Namun permasalahan utama yang sering dihadapi pelaku UMKM adalah akses terhadap permodalan. Maka, akses modal yang mudah sangat dibutuhkan pelaku UMKM untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dan demi mengembangkan usahanya.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui akses pembiayaan mikro bagi pedagang mikro di Semawis, serta mengetahui faktor apa saja yang menjadi pendukung dan penghambat dalam mengakses pembiayaan mikro. Responden pada penelitian ini adalah pedagang mikro kuliner di Kawasan Pecinan, Waroeng Semawis Semarang yang berjumlah 12 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah melalui wawancara dipandu dengan kuesioner. Metode penelitian pada penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa akses terhadap pembiayaan mikro dimiliki oleh pedagang kuliner Semawis. Pelayanan dan prosedur menjadi faktor pendukung akses pembiayaan mikro. Sedangkan agunan dan proses pencairan dana merupakan faktor penghambat dalam mengakses pembiayaan mikro bagi pedagang kuliner Semawis.Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises sector is a very important role in Indonesia because SMEs can improve the welfare of the Indonesian economy. Micro traders now are able to help provide field operations and reduce unemployment. But the main problem often faced by SMEs is access to capital. Therefore easy access to much needed capital SMEs to overcome these problems and in order to expand its business.This study aims to determine access to microfinance for micro traders in Semawis, and to know what are the factors supporting and accessing microfinance. Respondent in this study is culinary micro traders in Chinatown area, Waroeng Semawis Semarang totaling 12 people. Data collection technique in this research is through interview guided by a questionnaire. The research method in this study is a qualitative descriptive  method .These results indicate that access to micro financing is owned by the merchant culinary Semawis. Services and procedures supporting factors access to microfinance. While collateral and the disbursement process is a limiting factor in access to microfinance to Semawis culinary merchants.

Abstract

Para pengrajin sulampita di Kota Semarang bergabung dan membentuk koperasi dengan nama Koperasi Lokapita. Penjualan hasil kerajinan sulampita menurun selama pandemi covid-19 karena kesempatan untuk memasarkan produknya melalui pameran, bazaar, car free day, dan lain-lain tidak ada. Para anggota koperasi secara pribadi mencoba memasarkan produknya melalui media sosial, namun banyak yang tidak bertahan karena mengalami kesulitan dan kendala dalam pemasaran online. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dimaksudkan untuk membantu pengurus dan anggota koperasi untuk tetap bertahan. Kegiatan mencakup pemberian motivasi, pelatihan pemasaran online, dan pelatihan pembukuan berdasar aplikasi kepada pengurus dan anggota Koperasi Lokapita. Peserta mengikuti pelatihan dengan baik dan dipraktekkan melalui pendampingan sehingga memberikan hasil yang menggembirakan, yaitu meningkatnya motivasi pengurus dan anggota Koperasi Lokapita untuk tetap kreatif dan produktif di masa pandemi dan penjualan yang mulai meningkat.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the entrepreneurial intentions of generation Z in Indonesia. This study reveals the factors that influence the entrepreneurial intentions of generation Z and analyzing the relationship between these factors. The study was conducted using the FGD method on young entrepreneurs of generation Z to obtain input on the conditions of young entrepreneurship, especially generation Z. Reviewing the previous related literatures on entrepreneurial intention research were used to obtain a selection of factors that influence entrepreneurial intentions among young people. Models and hypotheses were built based on input from FGDs and previous related studies and then they were tested using the questionnaire data from survey techniques. Data testing was carried out using descriptive statistical methods, validity tests, reliability tests, and correlation tests using SPSS. Analysis of individual respondent factors was also carried out to reveal the characteristics of generation Z. The causality test using correlation technic were used to reveal the relationships between the factors studied. The output of this study is a model of entrepreneurial behaviors (entrepreneurial intentions) of generation Z in Indonesia. The results of this study reveal that factors naming Attitude towards money, Entrepreneurship education, Advance in technology, and Entrepreneurship efficacy have association with Entrepreneurship Intention. All factors also have a relationship with each other. Surprisingly, the personal factor Gender only has a relationship with Entrepreneurship education. Men and women have different relationships; women have a stronger relationship with entrepreneurship education. Meanwhile, Age has no relationship with all factors in this study. These results provide insight to entrepreneurship educators, the government, and stakeholders regarding the progress of young entrepreneurship in Indonesia. This insight is useful in assisting young people, especially generation Z, in entering and engaging in the entrepreneurship.
