Abstract

Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) bagaimana strategi dan usaha kepala madrasah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan?, (2) bagaimana upaya – upaya yang dilakukan kepala madrasah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan?dan(3) faktor apa yang menjadi penghambat dan pendukung dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan?. Metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk menjawab pertayaan tersebut maka penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Peneliti disini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian lapangan (field research). Sedangkan pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi dan analisis datanya menggunakan analisis interaktif. Hasil penelitian berupa pokok-pokok temuan yaitu: 1) Peningkatan mutu pembelajaran di MTs Ujung Jampea bagaimana kepala madrasah dapat mengelola strategi manajemen madrasah serta kemampuan dalam menetapkan Visi, Misi, Tujuan Pendidikan di madrasah tsanawiayh ujung jampea,Strategi, dan Sasaran tepat sesuai dengan situasi dan kondisi madrasah.2) Peningkatan mutu kompetensi kepemimpinan kepala madrasah dalam menjalankan tugas dan fungsinya sangat ditentukan motivasi diri kepala madrasah serta bagaimana bisa mengelola Input Pembelajaran, menyelenggarakan Proses Pembelajaran, menghasilkan Output Pembelajaran. 3) Secara keseluruhan kondisi Kepala MTs ujung Jampea menjalankan tugas dan fungsinya sebagai Educator (Pendidik), sebagai Manajer, sebagai Administrator, .sebagai Supervisor, sebagai Leader (Pemimpin), sebagai Inovator, sebagai Motivator sangat baik sehingga kepala madrasah bisa menjadi contoh dalam menjalankan tugasnya. Adapun inplikasi dari penelitian ini bahwa seorang kepala madrasah harus memiliki kemampuan menganalisis tantangan dan hambatan, pengetahuan, tekad, semangat, keberanian, serta memahami perang dan fungsinya sebagai edukator, manajer, administrator, supervisor, leader,inovator dan motivator.

Abstract

Based on observations made by researchers on June 14, 2024, information was obtained from Mr. Sumanri Sabar as the homeroom teacher of class IV MIN 2 Alor that MIN 2 Alor uses the 2013 curriculum. What was obtained was about the learning problems obtained from 20 students who did not complete, including: lack of a supportive physical environment such as: a). learning facilities and infrastructure, learning resources, b). The social environment concerns the relationship between students and their friends and students with their teachers. c). The academic environment is the school atmosphere and the implementation of teaching and learning activities and various curricular activities. ?" The research conducted by the researcher is a quantitative model study, with a sample of 26 fourth-grade students, the data collection methods used are questionnaires, observation and documentation. While the data analysis technique uses Product Moment correlation. Furthermore, based on hypothesis testing using the Product Moment formula, the value of r count is 0.436, and after consultation with a significance level of 5% with a standard deviation of dk n = 24, it shows that the results at a significance level of 5% are 0.404. Thus, it can be seen that r count (0.176) > r table (0.404).

Abstract

study aims to improve student learning outcomes through the application of the Jigsaw learning model in Natural Sciences (IPA) subjects for grade IV at MIS Al-Bidayah Munaseli. The background of this study is the low learning outcomes of students in science subjects caused by low interest and active participation of students during the learning process. The Jigsaw learning model was chosen because it is able to increase student involvement actively in group learning activities and encourage cooperation between students. This study uses a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach which is carried out in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects of this study were grade IV students of MI Al-Bidayah Munaseli in the 2024/2025 academic year totaling 19 students. Data were collected through observation, learning outcome tests, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the application of the Jigsaw learning model can improve student learning outcomes. This is evidenced by the increase in the average value of students from cycle I by 67.5% and increased after the implementation of cycle II with an average value of 83.75%, as well as the increase in the number of students who achieved the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM). In addition, student activity and participation in the learning process also showed a significant increase. Thus, it can be concluded that the Jigsaw learning model is effective in improving student learning outcomes in science subjects for grade IV at MI Al-Bidayah Munaseli.
