Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to determine the process of strategic management of character-based characterization of Carmelite spirituality at Senior High School. This study uses a qualitative ap-proach with multi-site study design. Data were collected through observation, interviews and documentation studies. Data analysis used single data analysis and cross-site data analysis. The results of the study show that: (1) strategic planning is characterized by the formation of organizational structures and task descriptions by principals, (2) character education programs formulated in Academic Guidebooks or Learning Guidelines (3) the implementation of character education is done by assigning character values in the spirit of prayer, brotherhood, and service, (4) evaluation is carried out regularly, while monitoring is carried out throughout the whole process of character education.Key Words: strategic management, character education, karmel spiritualityAbstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui proses manajemen strategis pendidikan karakter ber-basis spiritualitas Karmel di Sekolah Menengah Atas. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi multi situs. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis data tunggal dan analisis data lintas situs. Hasil penelitian menunjuk-kan bahwa: (1) perencanaan strategis ditandai dengan pembentukan struktur organisai dan deskripsi tugas oleh kepala sekolah, (2) program pendidikan karakter diformulasikan dalam Buku Panduan Akademik atau Buku Pedoman Pembelajaran (3) pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter dilakukan dengan mempresentasi-kan nilai-nilai karakter dalam semangat doa, persaudaraan, dan pelayanan, (4) evaluasi dilaksanakan se-cara berkala, sedangkan monitoring dilakukan pada seluruh proses pendidikan karakter.Kata kunci: manajemen strategis, pendidikan karakter, spiritualitas karmel

Abstract

Kampus Merdeka merupakan salah satu dari kebijakan pemerintah Republik Indonesia dalam mengelola Perguruan Tinggi sebagai upaya menghadapi era Revolusi Industri 4.0 dan Society 5.0. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kelebihan dan kekurangan dari kebijakan Kampus Merdeka. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa di satu sisi kebijakan Kampus Merdeka merupakan suatu langkah inovatif yang baik dari pemerintah dalam mengelola pendidikan di Indonesia, namun di sisi lain dalam implementasinya terhalang oleh pandemi covid-19. Campus Merdeka is one of the policies of the government of the Republic of Indonesia in managing universities as an effort to face the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Society 5.0. The purpose of this study was to determine the advantages and disadvantages of the Merdeka Campus policy. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. The results show that on the one hand the Merdeka Campus policy is a good innovative step from the government in managing education in Indonesia, but on the other hand its implementation has been hindered by the covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

The teaching of biblical inspiration is one of the basic understandings of the Bible in the Catholic Church. Reading and using the Bible does not guarantee the correct understanding of biblical inspiration. Therefore, this article intends to examine the understanding of biblical inspiration by the Christians and the church's teaching in the documents Dei Verbum and The Inspiration and Truth of Sacred Scriptures. This study uses qualitative method with a field study and literature study. Through this study, an understanding was obtained that the Christians have not understood the teaching of biblical inspiration correctly based on the church’s teaching, where inspiration signifies the cooperation between God and humans in writing the Scriptures. Thus the church needs to make a pastoral service to explain the church's teaching about biblical inspiration correctly.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pandangan masyarakat terhadap budaya belis masyarakat Maumere, Kabupaten Sikka, Flores, Nusa Tenggara Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi partisipan, dan studi dokumentasi yang diperoleh dari artikel jurnal nasional maupun jurnal internasional dan beberapa buku. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa belis memiliki makna simbolis yang sangat kaya, yakni sebagai simbol perwujudan martabat manusia, simbol penghargaan terhadap keluarga wanita, simbol yang mempererat relasi sosial, simbol legislator keturunan, ungkapan simbolis memperoleh hak seksual, simbol pengorbanan dan pendewasaan cinta dan sebagai norma adat. Hal ini berbeda dengan beberapa penelitian sebelumnya yang menunjukkan pandangan yang negatif tentang budaya belis, antara lain adanya pandangan bahwa belis menghambat pembangunan, menciptakan kekerasan dalam rumah tangga dan adanya kawin pintas (kawin sebelum sah menjadi suami-istri). Terhadap dua temuan yang berbeda ini peneliti akan memberikan tawaran solusi melalui redefenisi simbolisasi belis.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the spiritual leadership of the monks in Catholic schools. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach. The research design used a multi-site study conducted at three Catholic Junior High Schools (CJHI) in Malang, East Java, Indonesia. The results of the study show that in developing spiritual leadership in Catholic schools, school principals are imbued with monastic vows namely poverty, chastity and obedience. Embracing monastic vows in leadership assignments has a positive impact on teachers, staff and students.
