Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji hubungan antara dukungan sosial pasangan dengan keseimbangan kerja-keluarga pada karyawan yang sudah menikah di PT. Indofood ICBP Sukses Makmur Tbk Kota Bitung. Keseimbangan kerja-keluarga adalah kondisi di mana individu merasa terlibat dan puas dengan perannya di pekerjaan maupun keluarga. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan kuesioner untuk mengumpulkan data dari 123 karyawan menikah. Skala keseimbangan kerja-keluarga didasarkan pada teori Greenhause dkk (2003) dengan 36 item, sementara skala dukungan sosial pasangan mengacu pada teori House (dalam Dorio, 2009) dengan 37 item. Hasil analisis menunjukkan korelasi positif signifikan (r=0,678; p<0,05), di mana dukungan sosial pasangan berkontribusi 46% terhadap keseimbangan kerja-keluarga, sedangkan 54% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti.

Abstract

The process of developing an adolescent identity will be successful if parents can act as a “safe place” that allows adolescents to feel more confident in exploring the wider world. Not all adolescents can grasp the significance of parenting. Forgiving is the key to recovering from anger and hatred that arise from neglect of parents. Forgiveness can improve relationships and help adolescent understand the meaning of what happened. In this study, we use one type of qualitative research, namely narrative-biographical. This study used a 21-year-old woman who had a bitter experience of being abandoned by her parents. Forgiveness is shown to late adolescents towards their parents for painful experiences they felt. Individual can replace negative feelings with positive feelings, which can be liberating, beneficial to victims and help the find self-acceptance.

Abstract

This research is based on the assumption that career adaptability is very important for final year students to be able to cope with the challenges of the transition from university to work. The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of social support on career adaptability. Quantitative regression analysis tests were used as the research method. The population selected were final year students at the State University of Manado using a simple random sampling technique and a total sample of 51 students. The adaptability career scale (α = 0,90) and the social support scale (α = 0,91) were the instruments used in this study. Based on the results of the regression analysis test, there is a negative effect of social support on adaptability to work. The researchers suggest that the conditions caused by social support that are received too often will, in fact, make it more difficult for students to make decisions about their careers. Social support offers knowledge and strategies for experiencing career change. This situation is not compatible with the careers of the new economy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kesepian dan motivasi menyelesaikan skripsi pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir di Sulawesi Utara. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, penelitian ini melibatkan 86 mahasiswa dari Universitas Negeri Manado dan Universitas Sam Ratulangi yang sedang menempuh tugas akhir. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah skala kesepian UCLA (Russell, versi 3) dan skala motivasi adaptasi dari Sundra (2000). Analisis data dilakukan dengan regresi linear sederhana menggunakan SPSS 20. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan antara kesepian dan motivasi menyelesaikan skripsi (R = 0,267, p = 0,013), dengan kesepian berkontribusi sebesar 7,2% terhadap variasi motivasi. Temuan ini bertentangan dengan sejumlah studi sebelumnya yang menunjukkan pengaruh negatif kesepian terhadap motivasi belajar

Abstract

This study aims to determine the analysis of self efficacy in early adults at GPdI Eben Haezer Wawalintouan Tondano. The type of research used is qualitative research, with the aim of knowing the role of self-efficacy in early adult individuals in facing service activities at GPdI Eben Haezer Wawalintouan Tondano. The sample used in this study amounted to 4 people. The data collection techniques used are observation, interview and documentation. The results showed that there are several factors that play a role in the formation of self-efficacy of the research subjects, namely direct experience, social persuasion, and physical and emotional conditions. From all the results of the subject interviews, there is one common factor, namely direct experience that forms the self efficacy of each subject. This phenomenon is influenced by factors that contribute to each subject. Keyword : Self Efficacy, Early Adulthood, Services

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Dinas Ketahanan Pangan dan Pertanian Kota Bitung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan teknik sampling jenuh, di mana seluruh populasi sebanyak 43 pegawai dijadikan responden. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa disiplin kerja memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai sebesar 44,6%, sedangkan 55,4% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar penelitian, seperti motivasi, gaya kepemimpinan, kepuasan kerja, komitmen, beban kerja, dan lingkungan kerja. Ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi tingkat disiplin kerja maka semakin tinggi pula kinerja pegawai.
