Abstract

This computer training is part of Community Service (PKM) in Ladang Peris Village, Bajubang District, with the aim of improving children's readiness to face the digital era. The main problem is low technological skills due to limited facilities and minimal access to training. In addition, the lack of understanding about the wise use of technology is also an important issue. This training aims to provide basic computer skills education and increase awareness of the benefits and risks of technology. The main target is elementary to secondary school children who are interested in learning technology but have limited facilities. The methods used include theory, direct practice, and interactive approaches. Theoretical materials include an introduction to hardware, software, and the impact of technology. Practice is carried out through typing activities, using educational applications, digital drawing, and safe internet exploration. The results of the training showed an increase in children's understanding of technology and their courage to use it. They are also more aware of the importance of using technology positively. In conclusion, this training has a positive impact by providing children with basic computer skills, preparing them to face digital challenges, and encouraging the sustainability of the program to create a young generation that is technologically literate.

Abstract

Indonesia is known as a country with one of the most diverse tribes, cultures, ethnicities, languages ​​and religions in the world. This diversity is a God-given destiny and should be accepted as a gift. In this context, religious moderation emerges as an approach that seems essential to preserving the gifts God has given us while promoting dialogue and cooperation between religious communities. This is the background for religious moderation seminar activities in Ladang Peris Village, Bajubang District, Batang Hari Regency. This activity was attended by 45 participants consisting of students, Village Officials, Ladang Peris Village Youth, Syara' Employees, and the General Public. The hope is to raise awareness about the importance of religious moderation and build cooperation and create a space for open and sustainable dialogue. The activity was held on Tuesday 14 January 2025 at the Ladang Peris Village Hall with the resource person, Head of Bajubang District KUA, Mr Arofah, S.H.I., M.H. The activity was carried out face to face with participants and resource persons who were in the same location, where the resource person provided material, then followed by a discussion and question and answer session. Overall, this activity provided a new and comprehensive view to all participants present at the Ladang Peris Village Hall regarding religious moderation.

Abstract

Abstract Based on our research in Beras Basah Village so many housewife is not have a job. So the researchers aim to make flower bouquet entrepreneurship training to increase their income. We use qualitative method, the population is housewife in organitation PKK at Beras Basah village, and the sample of 20 people.This research has a positive impact on their creativity. This can be seen from their enthusiastic attitude in participating in the training. The researcher's recommendation for this activity is to develop it independently and sustainably so that it can grow new UMKM.

Abstract

This community service activity focuses on learning the proper recitation and movements of prayer (salat). Understanding and practicing the correct procedures of salat is an important aspect of Islamic religious education. This community service activity was conducted in Tenam Village and aimed at elementary school-aged students as part of the implementation of the Islamic Religious Education course. The community service activity was carried out through three main stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The preparation stage included identifying problems and analyzing the needs of the target community, determining the activity targets which covered participants, location, and time of implementation, formulating clear and measurable objectives of the community service activity, preparing training materials adjusted to the age of the participants, including the pillars and requirements of salat, recitations, and the practice of prayer movements, and determining appropriate implementation methods by emphasizing direct practice and mentoring. The second stage was the implementation stage, which began with an opening session, followed by the delivery of theoretical material and continued with demonstrations of the correct procedures of salat in accordance with Islamic guidance. The third stage was the evaluation stage, which was conducted to assess the participants’ understanding and ability to perform salat correctly through observation of practice and discussions. The results of this activity showed an improvement in the participants’ understanding and skills in performing salat according to proper guidance. Before the training was conducted, most participants had limited understanding of the requirements, pillars, and correct recitations of salat. After participating in the training, which included material delivery, demonstrations, and direct practice, participants showed positive changes. They were able to mention the requirements and pillars of salat more accurately and improve their prayer movements and recitations in accordance with Islamic guidance.

Abstract

Fire extinguishing training using the wet sack method in PKM (Community Service) activities was given to residents of Abadi Jaya Hamlet, Ladang Peris Village. The aim of this service activity is to provide education regarding the importance of knowledge about how to extinguish a fire early if a fire occurs before the fire grows and causes many losses. Before implementing the correct fire extinguishing practice, residents are given material exposure first, and if a light category fire occurs in the environment, use a simple method using wet sacks. Residents are advised to always provide fire extinguishing equipment such as sacks at home as a precautionary measure if a light fire. After providing education through theory, residents were invited to practice how to properly extinguish a fire using wet sacks. This training aims to ensure that residents have direct experience in how to put out a fire so that if a fire occurs, residents do not panic and understand what to do.
