Abstract

This study aims to examine the modernization of Islamic boarding school-based Arabic language learning in Al-Muhibbin Malaka Perbangunan Kebajikan, Malaysia. Attention and analysis of Arabic language learning remain important, even in the Islamic boarding school environment. However, this learning may still need improvement, considering that many Islamic boarding schools pay less attention to learning methods, even though this method is one of the important elements in developing learning, especially in Arabic language learning. This study is included in educational evaluation research with a focus on Arabic language teaching practices implemented in Perbangunan Kebajikan Al-Muhibbin Malaka, Malaysia.

Abstract

The curriculum is important in every educational unit. As in the title "Integration of Moral Education in the Implementation of the 2013 Curriculum at the Miftahussalam Private Madrasah Aliyah Medan". This study aims to determine the suitability of the character-based 2013 curriculum in the process of uniting moral education in the school. Furthermore, in this discussion, the researcher uses a qualitative descriptive approach, including through direct observation at school, conducting interviews with informants and through documentation as supporting data that can be used by researchers. In terms of being discussed by researchers, that integration is something that connects, links, unites something with a certain object. Thus the integration of moral education in implementing the 2013 curriculum is something that must exist and is common in the world of education. Because basically every lesson is of course very related to moral education. There are 21 subjects applied to this madrasa which will become knowledge for the students of MAS Miftahussalam Medan. Education has a goal to make people who have a good personality. The intended target is Madrasah Aliyah, where as we know that madrasas have a specificity in which the curriculum contains lessons about Islam. So the 2013 curriculum has been well implemented in this school. As in the objectives of education at Madrasah Aliyah are to increase intelligence, broad knowledge, good personality, have noble morals, and skills to live independently and take further education.
