Abstract

Mothers have an important role in the family to prevent stunting in their children. However, not all mothers have the knowledge to carry out this function. This community service activity aims to provide education to mothers to prevent stunting through the Isi Piringku education. The approach method for this activity is service learning which is carried out in Ciampea Udik Village, Bogor Regency. The activity was attended by 19 mothers who have elementary school-aged children. The stages of the activity consist of planning, implementation, and evaluation. The material provided is about Introduction to Isi Piringku and Childcare. The characteristics of the education participants are mostly in early adulthood with a secondary education level which shows that the type of participants is right on target. The response of all participants to this activity was that it was useful and interesting, and more than half of them hoped that educational activities would be carried out routinely. The implication of this activity is that further activities are needed in the form of education for students and media development about Isi Piringku for children and families.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the implementation of the outbound program on the leadership character of students at Algiva Alam School. This research uses a combination method, namely a combination of quantitative and qualitative research. Validity tests and reliability tests are used to strengthen the instruments used. The objects in the research are class V students. The informants in this research are the school principal and outbound teacher. Data collection methods use observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique uses a leadership character questionnaire and an outbound questionnaire. Based on the calculation results of the reliability test and validity test, it shows leadership character with a result of 0.82 with 10 valid questions. The outbound questionnaire showed 1.00 with 12 valid questions. The results of the reliability coefficient criteria show 0.80 ≤ r < 1.00 with a very high interpretation value. In percentage terms, the results of the leadership character questionnaire are 70% and the results of the outbound questionnaire are 78%. The results of the research show that the implementation of the outbound program on the leadership character of Alam Algiva School students is responsible, trustworthy, firm, intelligent, initiative, honest, consistent, straightforward and fair. The assessment is carried out by the outbound teacher before the activity, during the activity and at the end of the outbound teacher's activity by providing reflection to each student.

Abstract

The quality of educational services is defined as the capacity of educational institutions to produce graduates with expertise and competencies organized systematically from input, process, to output. This research aims to: 1) Describe the concept of servant leadership at MTs. Miftaahush Shuduur, 2) Depict the quality of educational services at MTs. Miftaahush Shuduur, and 3) Analyze the impact of servant leadership on the quality of educational services at MTs. Miftaahush Shuduur. The study was conducted at MTs Miftaahush Shuduur in Ciampea District, Bogor Regency. The analysis results indicate that servant leadership positively affects the quality of educational services. This implies that the stronger the servant leadership, the higher the quality of educational services provided by the institution. Hence, to enhance the quality of educational services, greater emphasis on servant leadership is recommended.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of teacher professional competence on the quality of vocational high school graduates in Tenjolaya District, Bogor. The type of research used is quantitative, with a survey method. Data collection is accumulated using a closed questionnaire, so that respondents can only choose one answer that is appropriate to their circumstances, the questionnaire includes a number of answers that have been determined by the researcher based on various statements, both positive and negative. The measurement of the data uses a Likert scale on five alternative answers, for the questionnaire variable (Y) graduate quality contains 50 items and the variable (X) teacher professional competence contains 44 items that are tested for validity using the Pearson product moment test and tested for reliability using Cronbach's alpha, so that valid and reliable statement items are obtained for the graduate quality variable 45 items and the teacher professional competence variable, namely 33 items, with research subjects as many as 65 respondents taken using probability sampling and simple random sampling techniques, where sampling is carried out randomly so that all subjects are treated and placed equally. The data analysis method applied is inferential statistics using simple regression tests, supported by the SPSS version 26 program, to determine the effect between the teacher's professional competence variable (X) on the quality of graduates (Y). The results of the study indicate that there is an effect between teacher professional competence on the quality of graduates by obtaining a significance value of 0.005 <0.05. So it can be interpreted that the teacher's professional competence variable (X) has a positive effect on the quality of graduates (Y). Therefore, in order to improve the quality of graduates, it is hoped that school institutions can improve the professional competence of teachers in teaching according to their expertise.

Abstract

Improving the quality of education requires effective educational supervision. This supervision, carried out by the school principal as supervisor, aims to guide teachers in improving their abilities and performance. A variety of supervision approaches can be applied, taking into account the goals, focus and role of the supervisor. Choosing the right approach must consider teacher needs, school conditions, and educational goals. An effective supervision approach will help teachers improve the quality of education in schools.
