Abstract

Student learning activities remain a common problem in elementary schools. Many students tend to be passive because learning is still teacher-centered and provides little room for exploration. This article aims to examine the contribution of the STREAM (Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) approach to strengthening student learning activities. This study used a descriptive quantitative approach with fifth-grade elementary school students as subjects. Data were collected through observations of learning activities, student response questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. The results showed that the implementation of the STREAM approach was able to increase active student engagement in the learning process. Students were more confident in asking questions, engaging in discussions, and enthusiastic about practical activities and projects. Thus, the STREAM approach contributes positively to creating more lively, meaningful, and student-centered learning.
