Abstract

This research aims to develop a quiz using a wordwall to increase the learning motivation of class IV students at SDN 01 Padang Laweh in science subjects. This quiz aims to increase students' learning motivation. This type of research and development uses Research and Development (R&D). This quiz development model uses the ADDIE model (Analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation). From the ADDIE model, a needs analysis, student characteristics analysis, material analysis, then expert validator test, practicality of students and educators and effectiveness seen from student motivation sheets are carried out. The results of developing a quiz using a wordwall to increase the motivation of class IV students at SDN 01 Padang Laweh in the science and sciences subject were declared very valid. Based on the results obtained from the validator, an average score of 86.27% was obtained in the very valid category. Practicality results with an average of 92.85% are very practical. For effectiveness, by filling out the motivation questionnaire, an average score of 85.47% was categorized as very effective. It can be concluded that the quiz created is valid, practical and effective for educators to use in learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh bahwa gaya belajarr siswa belum teridentifikasi secara efektif dan belum menemukan pola dalam mengindetifikasi gaya belajar tersebut, ini berdampak terhadap proses belajar siswa dikelas yang kurang optimal dan proses belajar yang tidak sesuai dengan preferensi gaya belajar siswa. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan Identifikasi gaya belajar siswa menggunakan Felder Silvermen Lerarning Styles Model (FSLSM). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gaya belajar siswa berdasarkan Felder Silverman Learning Styles Model (FSLSM) menggunakan Index Of Learning Styles (ILS) pada kelas tinggi SDN 05 Sitiung. Penelitian ini merupakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif kuantitatif jenis penelitian survey, dengan bentuk desain survey cross secctional. Lokasi penelitian dilaksanakan di SDN 05 Sitiung, kecamatan Sitiung, Kabupaten Dharmasraya. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 39 siswa yang merupakan siswa kelas tinggi. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kuesioner Index Of Learning Styles (ILS) yang telah diterjemakan kedalam Bahasa Indonesia. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan persentase siswa lebih banyak memilih gaya belajar Aktif pada dimensi pemprosesan sebanyak 28 siswa (69,23%), gaya belajar sensing pada dimensi persepsi sebanyak 22 siswa (56,41%), gaya belajar verbal pada dimensi input sebanyak 21 siswa (53,84%) dan gaya belajar Sekuensial pada dimensi pemahaman sebanyak 22 siswa (56,41%). Maka siswa kekas tinggi memiliki kecenderungan gaya belajar ASVeSe dalam empat dimensi Felder-Silverman.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low learning outcomes of sixth-grade students in the Science and Social Studies (IPAS) subject at SD Negeri 07 Sitiung. The aim of the study was to determine the effect of using the Qreatif application as a learning medium on students' learning outcomes in the Solar System material. This research employed a quantitative approach with an experimental design, specifically a pre-experimental method using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population consisted of all sixth-grade students at SD Negeri 07 Sitiung, totaling 15 students. The sample was selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data collection was carried out through learning outcome tests (pretest and posttest) in the form of multiple-choice questions. Data analysis techniques included normality testing and hypothesis testing using a paired samples t-test. The results of the paired samples t-test showed a two-sided p-value of 0.000, which is less than the significance level of 0.05 (p < 0.05). According to the hypothesis testing criteria, the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. The hypothesis test indicated a significant difference between students’ scores before and after the treatment. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of the Qreatif application significantly affects students’ learning outcomes in class VI at SD Negeri 07 Sitiung
