Abstract

This research is motivated by the absence of video tutorial-based learning media for creating headpieces in the Creative Product and Entrepreneurship course. The printed modules and YouTube links provided by teachers have not effectively enhanced students understanding. Therefore, this study aims to: 1) develop CapCut-based video tutorial learning media, 2) analyze the feasibility of CapCut-based video tutorial learning media, 3) analyze the differences in student learning outcomes after implementing the media, and 4) evaluate the effectiveness of CapCut-based video tutorial learning media on students learning achievements. This research employs the Borg and Gall development model with 10 stages. The study subjects consist of 69 students from the Beauty and SPA vocational program. The analysis focuses on CapCut video tutorials for creating floral themed fantasy headpieces using plastic waste. The instruments used include observation sheets, questionnaires, and tests. The results indicate that CapCut-based video tutorial media are user-friendly, engaging, and capable of increasing student learning motivation. Based on evaluations by media and subject matter experts, the media are considered highly feasible. The independent sample t-test results reveal a significant difference in students learning outcomes before and after using the CapCut-based video tutorials. The average N-Gain was 87.4% in the experimental class and 24% in the control class, demonstrating the effectiveness of this learning media in improving student learning outcomes

Abstract

Development digital technology has become imperative in the world of industry and education, demands adaptation curriculum School Intermediate Vocational (SMK) to be able to produce source Power human beings who have competence in accordance the needs of the world of work, especially in fashion design field. Learning conventional which tends to theoretical need innovation with utilise technology digital -based for create a more effective learning process active, creative, and relevant with style life of Gen Z. Therefore that, research This focus on four objectives main: (1) Produce module-based Ibis Paint X application with draft mood board for design fashion digital ready-to-wear; (2) Analyze level eligibility module; (3) Analyze level practicality module in context of learning model Problem-Based Learning (PBJL); and (4) Analyzing effectiveness module in increase ability increase competence student in manufacturing design fashion daily wear era gen z digitally. Study This use approach Research and Development (R&D) with adopting the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Subject study is vocational school students in the subject lesson design fashion. Data analysis includes feasibility tests, practicality tests, and effectiveness tests. use N-Gain Score and statistical test t-Test N-Gain Score. N-Gain is related with increase competence student in manufacturing design fashion Daily wear in the Gen Z era digitally. Reliability test results to evaluation eligibility modules by experts’ material get mark of 0.898. Validation results expert show that developed modules is in the very appropriate category, confirms suitability content and construction module in a way academic. Practicality test in PBJL implementation shows very practical category. More further, the results of the effectiveness test prove that Ibis Paint X module is very effective in increase competence student in manufacturing design fashion daily wear era gen z digitally. This is supported by the acquisition N-Gain value of 81% (category effective) and the results of the t-test show Sig. value (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.001, which is far smaller from level significance of 0.05. Abstract

The utilization of three-dimensional fashion design technology in vocational learning at vocational high schools is still suboptimal, particularly in providing structured digital learning materials that support independent practical learning. This condition affects the mastery of digital fashion design skills among students. This study aims to develop an interactive e-module based on digital fashion design applications for the topic of Preparation for Kebaya Kutubaru Modification and to assess its feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness as a learning medium. This research employs the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects consist of 18 students from the 11th grade of Fashion Design Expertise Program at SMK Ibu Kartini Semarang. Data collection techniques include expert assessments, user response questionnaires, and pre- and post-performance tests. The results of the study indicate that the developed e-module is categorized as very feasible and highly practical for use in learning. Furthermore, the analysis shows an improvement in the skills of the students after using the e-module, with the N-Gain value categorized as moderate. Therefore, the developed interactive e-module is deemed effective as a learning medium to support the enhancement of digital fashion design skills among SMK students.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effects, improvements, and differences in the skills and work attitudes of students through the integration of a Deep Learning approach with the Project Based Learning PjBL model in the Style and Design Development element of the Fashion Design and Production subject at vocational high schools. The study employed a quasi-experimental method with a pretest posttest non-equivalent control group design. The participants consisted of 41 eleventh grade students from the Fashion Design Program at SMK Widya Praja Ungaran, including 21 students in the control class that implemented conventional PjBL and 20 students in the experimental class that implemented PjBL integrated with the Deep Learning approach. The research instruments consisted of a skills assessment rubric and a work attitude scale that had been validated by six experts using the Percentage of Agreement test. Data were analyzed using the N Gain test and the Independent Sample t Test. The findings indicate that the N Gain value of skills in the experimental class reached 65.4%, which falls within the moderate category and is higher than the control class with 53% in the less effective category. The N Gain value of work attitude in the experimental class reached 92% in the effective category, while the control class obtained 72% in the fairly effective category. The results of the t test show significant differences in skills t = 13.175, p = 0.000 < 0.05 and work attitudes t = 3.212, p = 0.003 < 0.05. These findings indicate that the integration of a Deep Learning approach within the PjBL model significantly improves student skills and work attitudes in vocational fashion design learning.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a deep learning-based e-module on modern hair styling and to analyze its feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness in improving students’ 4C skills. The study employed the ADDIE development model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research design used was a Pre-Test Post-Test Control Group Design. The research subjects consisted of 72 eleventh-grade TKKR students at SMK Negeri 6 Surabaya, comprising 36 students in the experimental group and 36 students in the control group. Data collection techniques included validation questionnaires for subject matter experts and media experts, a teacher practicability questionnaire, and a performance test. The results showed that the e-module achieved an average feasibility score of 3.74, falling into the “highly feasible” category. The practicability test scored Kr at 0.91, Ks at 0.78, and a practicability percentage of 91%, falling into the “highly practical” category. The results of the effectiveness test showed an N-Gain value of 78.7% for the experimental class (effective), which was higher than that of the control class, which had a value of 48.2% (less effective). An independent samples t-test revealed a p-value (Sig. = 0.000 < 0.05), indicating a significant difference between the two groups. Thus, the deep learning-based e-module developed is deemed highly feasible, highly practical, and effective in supporting the development of students’ 4C skills in the subject of modern hair styling.

Abstract

Study This aiming For know What just factor interest Beauty Education study program students to teacher profession . Factors studied in study This is a perception factor , an ability factor self , value and desire factors , opportunity factors work , environmental factors , and experience factors . Including in study quantitative with method research used is analysis statistics descriptive and factor analysis . It is type study survey and measurement instrument with scale likert . Application assisted data processing with Microsoft Excel and IBM SPSS Statistics 23. Research results show that in a way factor analysis of the six factors each other reliable and forms two major factors namely the intrinsic factors that consist from the perception factor with statistical average result descriptive by 84.2%, capability factor self 81.6%, and experience factor 78%. Second factor namely extrinsic factors consisting of from the value and desire factors with statistical average descriptive by 67.7%, opportunity factor work 63.9%, and environmental factors 58.1%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the quality of the Whirling Tide fashion design as a form of creative expression by fashion education students based on six evaluation aspects, namely design, size, sewing technique, aesthetics, garment performance, and uniqueness. This research employed a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected from 35 validators consisting of 5 expert validators and 30 trained validators using a Guttman-scale checklist instrument, and then analyzed using percentage analysis. The results show that the expert validators’ assessment reached 93.22%, while the trained validators’ assessment reached 97.11%, indicating that the Whirling Tide fashion design is categorized as very high quality. The aesthetics and uniqueness aspects obtained the highest scores, while the design aspect received the lowest score, although it still remained in the high-quality category. These findings indicate that Whirling Tide successfully integrates visual aesthetics, technical construction, cultural inspiration, and creative innovation as a fashion work. Therefore, this study can serve as a reference for evaluating fashion quality in fashion education, particularly in the development of creative works based on cultural and conceptual design.

Abstract

This study aims to enrich teaching materials by presenting educational videos on advanced layer cut techniques and toevaluate their effectiveness as a learning tool. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D), adopting the ADDIE development model, which includes the phases of needs analysis, design, product development, implementation, and evaluation. Data collection was conducted using validation instruments completed by subject matter experts and media experts, as well as a questionnaire to gather user feedback. The findings of this study indicate that the developed video media was deemed suitable based on assessments by subject matter experts, media experts, and user responses. Furthermore, this instructional video successfully presented the steps for layered hair cutting in a structured, engaging, and easy-to-understand manner, thereby facilitating learners in mastering and practicing the layered hair cutting method.
