Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji peran teknologi finansial (fintech) dalam meningkatkan inklusi keuangan di berbagai negara, dengan fokus pada dampak sosial dan ekonomi yang ditimbulkan serta tantangan yang dihadapi. Perkembangan fintech telah memberikan solusi inovatif dalam memperluas akses layanan keuangan, terutama bagi individu dan usaha kecil yang sebelumnya terpinggirkan oleh sistem perbankan tradisional. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode eksploratif, yang menggabungkan wawancara mendalam dan analisis dokumen terkait fintech dan inklusi keuangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fintech memiliki peran kunci dalam mengatasi kesenjangan akses keuangan, dengan tingkat signifikansi sebesar 90%. Meskipun demikian, tantangan utama yang dihadapi termasuk masalah regulasi (70%) dan keamanan data (75%), yang masih menjadi hambatan utama bagi pengembangan industri ini. Selain itu, fintech juga memberikan dampak ekonomi yang signifikan (88%), meningkatkan efisiensi ekonomi global melalui akses keuangan yang lebih inklusif. Kolaborasi antara fintech dan perbankan tradisional terbukti menjadi solusi yang efektif dalam mempercepat inklusi keuangan, dengan tingkat signifikansi 78%. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan bagi pembuat kebijakan, pelaku industri, dan akademisi untuk mengembangkan strategi yang lebih efektif dalam memanfaatkan fintech untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan ekonomi global, sambil mengatasi tantangan yang ada, seperti regulasi dan keamanan data.

Abstract

Financial literacy is a crucial competency for MSMEs to maintain business sustainability. In Heram District, most MSMEs lack understanding of transaction recording, separating personal and business finances, and simple cash flow reports. This community service activity aims to improve financial literacy through practical training based on local needs. The methods used include interactive lectures, financial recording simulations, and individual mentoring. Evaluation was conducted through pre-post tests, observations, and interviews. Results showed a 41.4% increase in participants' understanding scores, and the majority were able to prepare simple financial reports. The participatory approach and hands-on practice effectively built participants' skills, especially those with limited educational backgrounds. The training also changed participants' attitudes toward the importance of financial recording and cash management and encouraged the formation of a potentially sustainable learning community. This program contributes to financial inclusion and local economic empowerment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of financial literacy on personal financial management among university students in Indonesia. Additionally, this study explores the role of digital technology usage in enhancing students' personal financial management. Using a quantitative descriptive approach, data was collected through a survey distributed to students from various universities in Indonesia. The results indicate that financial literacy significantly influences students' personal financial management. Students with higher financial literacy are more likely to manage their budgets effectively, save regularly, and avoid excessive debt. Furthermore, the use of digital technology such as mobile banking apps and digital wallets has been shown to improve students' personal financial management by making it easier for them to track expenses and monitor budgets in real-time. However, demographic factors such as gender and age did not show a significant effect on students' personal financial management in this study. The findings suggest that increasing financial literacy and utilizing digital technology can enhance students' personal financial management. Therefore, it is crucial for universities and policymakers to design more effective educational programs on financial literacy and digital technology so that students can better manage their finances. This research provides valuable insights for the development of financial education curricula that are relevant to the financial challenges faced by students in the digital age.
