Abstract

This study aims to explore innovative strategies in human resource management (HRM) and their impact on organizational performance. Using a literature review approach, the research identifies four main themes: employee engagement, technology utilization, team diversity, and flexible work policies. The findings indicate that innovative strategies, such as employee engagement development programs and the adoption of information technology, can enhance productivity and job satisfaction. Additionally, team diversity contributes to creativity and innovation, while flexible work policies help organizations adapt in uncertain situations, such as those experienced during the COVID-19 pandemic. These findings provide insights for practitioners and organizational leaders in formulating more effective strategies to enhance performance through innovative HRM. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi strategi inovatif dalam manajemen sumber daya manusia (SDM) dan dampaknya terhadap kinerja organisasi. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi literatur, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi empat tema utama: keterlibatan karyawan, penggunaan teknologi, keberagaman dalam tim, dan kebijakan kerja fleksibel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi inovatif, seperti program pengembangan keterlibatan karyawan dan adopsi teknologi informasi, dapat meningkatkan produktivitas dan kepuasan kerja. Selain itu, keberagaman dalam tim berkontribusi pada kreativitas dan inovasi, sementara kebijakan kerja fleksibel membantu organisasi beradaptasi dalam situasi yang tidak menentu, seperti yang terjadi selama pandemi COVID-19. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan bagi praktisi dan pemimpin organisasi dalam merumuskan strategi yang lebih efektif untuk meningkatkan kinerja melalui manajemen SDM yang inovatif.

Abstract

In the National Development carried out by the Indonesian Nation which is one way to achieve development goals to create community welfare based on the Constitution and the fifth principle of Pancasila. This study was conducted with the aim of understanding the role of banking in increasing the potential of traditional markets in an Islamic perspective. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The data source for this study uses primary data and secondary data. The data collection technique used is interviews. The results of this study are Based on interviews conducted by researchers with morning market actors in the Cirebon City Prosecutor's Office, especially traders who utilize banking financial services, there has been an increase in adequate results or income. With the increase in capital from bank loans, traders are able to increase the quantity of merchandise and types of goods traded. This shows that banking companies have a great contribution in increasing the potential of traditional markets in the Cirebon City Prosecutor's Office Morning Market

Abstract

Purpose: This conceptual study aims to explore the impact of digitalization on the role of Human Resources (HR) in retail companies. It specifically investigates how digital tools such as HR analytics and automation are transforming HR from a transactional function into a strategic partner. Research Methodology: This research utilizes a thematic literature review approach, synthesizing 27 studies from Scopus, Google Scholar, and other databases published between 2010 and 2024. The review integrates the Dynamic Capability Theory and Strategic Human Resource Management (SHRM) to construct a theoretical framework. Results: The findings indicate that digitalization significantly drives the automation of HR processes, the adoption of HR analytics, and the need for new competencies. As a result, HR's role is evolving from administrative tasks to strategic decision-making, positioning HR as a key enabler of organizational agility and innovation. Limitations: This study is conceptual in nature and does not include empirical data. Additionally, it focuses primarily on medium-to-large retail companies and does not address small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in retail. Contribution: This paper contributes to the HR literature by developing a conceptual model that illustrates the transformation of HR roles in retail businesses through digitalization. It also provides theoretical propositions for future research and practical recommendations for HR practitioners in the retail sector.
