Abstract

Kata Kunci : Kematian Neonatal, Kota Bogor ABSTRACT Background: Neonatal deaths are still included in the problem of infant mortality, where how much infant mortality in a region can be measured by the infant mortality rate (IMR). IMR is of great concern because it is one of the indicators of the level of public health to provide an overview of the health of the population in general.Purpose: This study aims to identify the factors influencing neonatal mortality in Bogor City in 2023.Methods: The research employs a quantitative method with a case-control study design. The study population consists of all neonatal mortality cases that occurred in 2023. The research instrument uses data from the 2023 neonatal mortality report for Bogor City. Results: The results indicate a significant relationship between maternal age (p-value 0.024), maternal parity (p-value 0.002), and neonatal mortality. However, no significant relationship was found between maternal education level (p-value 0.226), gestational age (p-value 0.108), and neonatal mortality. Conclusion: From these findings, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between maternal age, maternal parity, and neonatal mortality.Suggestions: Based on the results of the study, several steps are recommended to prevent neonatal death in Bogor City, namely Increase health education and promotion for pregnant women regarding the importance of regular and comprehensive antenatal checkups, Improve access to maternal and child health services, especially for pregnant women and newborns at high risk, Improving the quality of maternal and child health services, childbirth services, and newborn care, and Conduct further research to identify other factors that correlate with neonatal mortality in Bogor City. Keywords: Neonatal Mortality, Bogor City

Abstract

X Health Center UPTD, which is located in an urban area, is categorized as a Non-Inpatient Health Center with the capability of Basic Emergency Neonatal Obstetric Services (PONED) and 24 hours Emergency Services. This study aims to evaluate the ability to handle maternal and neonatal emergencies at PONED UPTD X Health Center. This research uses qualitative methods by conducting in-depth interviews with health workers (1 Doctor, 1 Midwife, 1 Nurse and 1 patient) and direct observation of infrastructure. The research was conducted from May to June 2024. The results of the study show that in PONED facilities there are still limitations in resuscitation equipment and certain drugs. Only 13.6% of the support team has attended PONED training. Limited staff of doctors and laboratory analysts hampers 24-hour service. Although there has been an increase in deliveries and a decrease in referrals, some cases should be treated without referral. There is an important role of social support and collaboration in improving services. There is a need to increase the number of trained health workers, continuous training, provision of medical equipment and medicines and increased collaboration with referral facilities.

Abstract

Background: RS “X” Depok City recorded that around 13,054 people living with HIV (PLWHA) have accessed antiretroviral (ARV) services until 2025. However, until now there has been no research related to Lost to Follow Up (LTFU) in Depok City Hospital “X”. Research is needed to determine the determinants of the incidence of LTFU of ARV treatment, especially in HIV/AIDS patients at “X” Depok City Hospital. Methods: T This study used a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. The population in this study were all patients who had accessed ARV treatment services at “X” Hospital in Depok City in 2024. The sample in this study was 312 PLWHA obtained using simple random sampling technique. The dependent variable in this study was the incidence of LTFU, while the independent variables included age, gender, place of residence, referral origin, duration of ARV consumption and population group. Data were analyzed using univariate, bivariate and multivariate analysis with p<0.05 and 95% confidence level. Results: The results showed that 44.2% of HIV/AIDS patients at RS “X” Depok City experienced LTFU. The variables of residence and referral origin were significant predictors of the incidence of LTFU in HIV/AIDS patients at RSUD “X” Depok City. Conclusion: There needs to be assistance for HIV/AIDS patients who live in Depok City and HIV/AIDS patients who come alone without a referral so that they can continue to undergo ARV treatment continuously. Keywords: Antiretroviral, HIV, AIDS, Loss to Follow Up
