Abstract

Innovation in waste utilization plays a crucial role in supporting environmental sustainability and the development of the creative economy. This study explores the successful efforts of students from the Non-Formal Education (PLS) Study Program at Universitas Palangka Raya in developing rattan bracelets made from recycled materials, particularly used PVC pipes. Through a sustainability-based entrepreneurial approach, students not only reduce plastic waste but also create products with high aesthetic and economic value. The research methodology includes raw material identification, an innovative production process, and marketing strategies. The findings indicate that using PVC pipes as molds in rattan bracelet production enhances shape precision, accelerates production, and increases market appeal. Furthermore, this innovation contributes to local community empowerment and supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in both environmental and economic aspects. Thus, the development of rattan bracelets from recycled materials not only serves as a creative solution for waste management but also opens entrepreneurial opportunities for PLS students.

Abstract

Education is a basic right of every individual and has a crucial role in the development of human resources. However, the cost of higher education is often an obstacle for many families, especially in developing countries like Indonesia. This research examines the high cost of higher education from an Islamic legal perspective, highlighting how the Koran offers a solution to this problem. A qualitative approach with literature studies is used to understand the views of Islamic law and Al-Quran solutions regarding higher education costs. The Koran teaches the importance of education and offers mechanisms such as zakat, sadaqah, and waqf to support more just and equitable education. This research shows that the implementation of Islamic principles can help overcome barriers to access to higher education, promote social justice, and build quality human resources

Abstract

This research aims to describe how Meta AI can be used in creating engaging and educational illustrations through children's stories, as well as analyzing its strengths and weaknesses. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach to analyze the potential of Meta AI in making children's story illustrations. Data was obtained through: literature studies on Meta AI applications and trial illustration making using Meta AI. The results of the study show that Meta AI has great potential in producing illustrations that meet the needs of learning with high accessibility and creative exploration capabilities. However, limited contextual understanding, lack of human touch, and copyright issues are the main challenges. This study recommends collaboration between AI developers and human illustrators to optimize the quality of illustrations as well as training for educators in utilizing this technology.
