Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis kelayakan finansial usaha peternakan itik petelur milik Bapak Nurdin di Kota Palangka Raya. Menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif, pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dan observasi langsung. Analisis kelayakan finansial dilakukan dengan menggunakan lima metode yaitu Average Rate of Return (ARR), Payback Period (PP), Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), dan Profitability Index (PI). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa usaha ini memiliki payback period 1 tahun 6,14 bulan, ARR 66,80%, NPV positif Rp 142.535.990, IRR 42,2%, dan PI 2,8. Investasi awal sebesar Rp 95.550.000 dialokasikan untuk pembangunan kandang (41,9%), pembelian bibit itik (40,8%), mesin penggilingan pakan (15,7%), dan peralatan lainnya (1,6%). Berdasarkan seluruh indikator kelayakan finansial tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa usaha peternakan bebek petelur milik Bapak Nurdin layak dan menguntungkan untuk dijalankan, dengan prospek keberlanjutan usaha yang baik dalam jangka panjang.

Abstract

The optimization of local agricultural products through innovative product development and digital marketing has become essential to enhance economic value and entrepreneurial potential. This study focuses on the production of avocado chips as an innovative and high-value product at the Cipta Rasa Fruit Garden in Palangka Raya. The project involved training and mentoring sessions for local farmers, aimed at improving their skills in processing avocados into chips. The training included product development, digital marketing strategies, and entrepreneurship, addressing the issues of limited avocado shelf life and low economic value. Through this community service activity, participants were equipped with essential entrepreneurial skills such as business planning, product processing, and online marketing, empowering them to utilize local resources effectively. The results showed that the training program significantly increased participants' knowledge and interest in entrepreneurship, as well as enhanced the economic value of avocado products. The digital marketing component also played a key role in expanding market reach and visibility, making the avocado chips a potential flagship product for local economic development.
