Abstract

Penambangan PT Duta Alam Sumatera menggunakan metode konvensional, sistem tambang terbuka. Reklamasi, yang berarti mengembalikan fungsi lahan, adalah tahapan yang paling penting. Untuk memaksimalkan hasil reklamasi, tahap pertama adalah mengatur lahan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat keberhasilan penataan lahan dan tingkat erosi dan sedimentasi yang terjadi pada area Reklamasi Pit 2 yang telah dilakukan penataan. Dengan mengolah data angka, metode kuantitatif digunakan untuk menghasilkan persentase tingkat keberhasilan penataan lahan dan tingkat erosi dan sedimentasi yang terjadi pada area yang telah ditata. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan, luas penataan lahan yang direncanakan untuk area Reklamasi Pit 2 pada tahun 2020 adalah 3,60 ha, dengan realisasi seluas 3,52 ha, atau 97,78% dari rencana luas penataan lahan. Sementara itu, persentase penebaran tanah zona pembakaran adalah 100% dari total realisasi penataan lahan seluas 3,52 ha, dan erosi dan sedimentasi terjadi pada area yang ditata seluas 0,2 ha, atau 5,68% dari total realisasi. Dengan mempertimbangkan Keputusan Menteri ESDM Nomor 1827K/30/MEM/2028, tingkat keberhasilan penatagunaan lahan di area Reklamasi Pit 2 PT DAS pada tahun 2020 adalah 97,52%, sesuai dengan Peraturan Menteri Kehutanan Nomor P. 60/Menhut-II/2009, yang menunjukkan bahwa tingkat keberhasilan penatagunaan lahan sebesar 93,00%.

Abstract

Swabakar is an event where coal can burn on its own. The purpose of the PT Bukit Asam Tbk Laboratory is to analyze the influence of wind speed and grain size differences and determine the value of transition temperature and the normality test of time and temperature data of coal samples. The research method used is to measure wind speed using an anemometer and measure the coal temperature before and after the swab. It can be seen from the results of the discussion that coal with a grain size of 13 mm experiences a faster swab process than coal with a grain size of 50 mm. The results showed that coal with a grain size of 13 mm experienced a faster swab than a size of 50 mm. The order of transition temperature values based on the grain size of 13 mm was MT-46 < BB-50 < AL-55, while at 50 mm the same results were found. This shows that MT-46 coal is more susceptible to swabbing than other types. Normality testing of time and temperature data shows that all data are distributed normally, so the validity of the research results can be accounted for. This study concludes that the smaller the size of the coal grains, the faster the oxidation process leads to spontaneous combustion. Wind speed also plays a role in accelerating the spread of oxygen into the coal pile, which increases the risk of swabbing. The implications of this study are important for the coal mining industry to consider the factors of grain size and wind speed in stockpile management to reduce the risk of waste and maintain the quality of coal.

Abstract

Acid mine drainage management and sludge settling efficiency at KPL 13 play an important role in ensuring the quality of wastewater before it is discharged into the environment to meet the quality standards set by the government. The study was conducted using field observation methods, primary data collection (TSS, water discharge, pond dimensions), and secondary data (rainfall, company data). The results showed that before maintenance, KPL 13 experienced a decrease in settling efficiency due to full pond conditions and landslides, so that the TSS at the outlet remained high. After maintenance, the sludge settling efficiency increased significantly, indicated by a decrease in the TSS value at the outlet. The addition of chemical injections such as Powerbase 3028, Powerclear 1228, and Powerfloc 4888 succeeded in reducing TSS levels effectively in each compartment. This study provides recommendations regarding the frequency of pond maintenance and improvements to compartment design to maximize sludge settling capacity. The results of this study obtained a TSS reduction value of 20-30 Mg/L after maintenance, which means that the TSS reduction was successful and improved the performance of the sludge settling pond.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze work efficiency, productivity of loading and unloading equipment, productivity of hauling equipment, and Match Factor in overburden stripping activities at the North West Pit Tal, Air Laya Mine of PT Bukit Asam, Tbk. Overburden stripping activities are an important part of mining operations that require good coordination between loading and unloading equipment to achieve optimal efficiency and productivity. This study was conducted by directly observing mining operations and analyzing operational data from PT Bukit Asam, Tbk in collaboration with PT Antareja Mahada Makmur (AMM), as its mining contractor. The results showed that the productivity of the Caterpillar 395 excavator was 504.43 tons/hour, while the productivity of the Heavy Duty 785 was 49.46 tons/hour. The match factor value of 0.68 indicates an imbalance in the work synchronization between the loading and unloading equipment. To achieve optimal work harmony (match factor approaching 1), repair slippery and uneven roads to increase the match factor of the loading and transporting equipment used at the research location so that the working time of the loading and transporting equipment is more optimal.
