Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of self efficacy on learning achievement of Computer Accounting (MYOB Accounting) in class XI Accounting students at SMK Negeri 1 Pontianak. The research method used is a quantitative approach with the type of influence research. Sampling was done randomly with a total of 61 respondents from class XI Accounting of SMK Negeri 1 Pontianak. Data analysis used simple linear regression analysis which was to see the effect between self-efficacy as an independent variable (X) with learning achievement of Computer Accounting (MYOB Accounting) as a dependent variable (Y). The results of the study showed that (1) the level of self efficacy of students in the Computer Accounting (MYOB Accounting) subject of class XI Accounting at SMK Negeri 1 Pontianak was in the "High" category with a percentage of 75.16%; (2) the learning achievement of Computer Accounting (MYOB Accounting) of class XI Accounting students at SMK Negeri 1 Pontianak reached "Good" with a percentage value of 57%; and (3) self-efficacy has a significant influence on the learning achievement of Computer Accounting (MYOB Accounting) class XI Accounting students at SMK Negeri 1 Pontianak with a contribution of 73.2%. Meanwhile, the other 26.8% is influenced by other variables that were not examined in this study.
