Abstract

This study discusses the role of combined farmer groups (GAPOKTAN) in empowering vegetable garden farmers in Beruge Darat Village, Talang Ubi District, Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir (PALI) Regency, which is an activity carried out by the government and Gapoktan for the benefit of the farming community. This is because most of the villagers work as farmers and their empowerment is very dependent on the human resources in it. If human resources have high motivation, and are able to raise awareness of their potential, the lives of farmers in the village will definitely improve. This research is motivated by problems related to difficulties in obtaining capital, knowledge and skills are still low, agricultural productivity is low which can affect the ability of farmers to carry out, for example, the quality of production inputs is not good, difficulties in supplying water for farming because farming land has a long distance far from a water source. The purpose of this study was to find out first what is the role of Gapoktan in empowering vegetable garden farmers in Beruge Darat Village, Talang Ubi District, PALI Regency, secondly, what are the obstacles faced by Gapoktan in empowering vegetable garden farmers in Beruge Darat Village, Talang Ubi District, Regency PALI in community empowerment in the agricultural sector. This type of research uses qualitative techniques, this type of field research, the subject of this research is the chairman of the Gapoktan, and there are four members. Data collection techniques carried out by researchers are observation, interviews, and documentation through data analysis techniques: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that Gapoktan plays a role in fulfilling its mission of empowering the community as a central institution, being involved in channeling government assistance, namely providing agricultural production facilities such as fertilizers, poisons, public wells and seeds, indicating that they play a role in carrying out extension activities and skills training for farmers.

Abstract

Vegetable chips is one of the household industries in Pangkul Jawa Village which is still very traditional with its processing tools and strategies used and how to promote its products by entrusting products to souvenir centers and restaurants. The method used in this research is qualitative method. The types of data used are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The purpose of making a thesis entitled "The Role of Vegetable Chips Home Industry in Efforts to Improve Family Welfare" is to be able to identify or know the potential role of the vegetable chips home industry in an effort to prosper the family. The research results obtained from this study are: 1. Regarding the strategy for home industry activities, namely by maintaining the quality of vegetable chip products with high quality and nutrition, as well as by improving technological systems to become more sophisticated. 2. Regarding the inhibiting factors in the home industry, namely the lack of manpower or human resources, the process of making vegetable chips production still uses traditional equipment. 3. Regarding the role of home industry activities, namely the existence of a chip-making business helps housewives earn additional income and it can be said that the existence of this chip business is very helpful for the economy and improves family welfare.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the efficacy of S. agalactiae whole cell vaccine orally with Artemia sp as a vaccine vector for prevention against Streptococcosis in tilapia. Fish fry used in the study were 2-3 cm in size that did not carry S. agalactiae bacteria, kept in 3 l volume jars as many as ten heads / jars. Giving the vaccine to fish orally by first soaking the vaccine into Artemia sp.. The length of soaking time of the vaccine is 15, 30, 60, 90, 120 and 150 minutes. The parameters observed were relative percent survival (RPS), antibody titer value, total leukocytes, pagocytic index, and leukocyte differential. The results of the RPS value study showed that the treatment between vaccines was not significantly different, while the treatment of vaccines with controls was significantly different (P<0.05). The highest RPS value was obtained in vaccine immersion treatment in Artemia sp. for 30 minutes and 120 minutes with a value of 93.33%. Furthermore, RPS is 86.67% at 15 and 150 minutes soaking and RPS is 80% at 30 minutes immersion. This shows that the level of vaccine protection against streptococcosis in tilapia fry is very high

Abstract

In this study, the effect of imidacloprid degradation on the reduction of water-soluble vitamins in tomatoes was observed, such as ascorbic acid, pyridoxine, niacin, and thiamine. Analysis was carried out using a spectrophotometer and high-performance liquid chromatography. The degradation method with ozone water for 15 minutes showed a better result than the ozonolysis method because the decrease in levels of water-soluble vitamins is smaller. The percentage decrease of each water-soluble vitamin in the ozone water method is ascorbic acid by 17.103 %, pyridoxine by 6.723 %, niacin by 2.781 %, and thiamine by 0.333 %. Ozone water methods also produce a high percentage of degradation which is 90.56 %.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas konseling kelompok dengan pendekatan Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT) dalam mereduksi kecemasan atlet berkebutuhan khusus di Kabupaten PALI. SEFT merupakan teknik terapi yang menggabungkan ketukan pada titik-titik meridian tubuh dengan afirmasi spiritual. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konseling kelompok SEFT secara signifikan mampu menurunkan tingkat kecemasan atlet, meningkatkan ketenangan, dan memperkuat spiritualitas mereka. Metode ini dinilai efektif, sederhana, dan relevan untuk diterapkan dalam pembinaan mental atlet difabel di lingkungan yang religius.
