Abstract

This study focuses on the development of early childhood independence through a holistic learning approach at RA Dewi Masyitoh Kandangjati Kulon Kraksaan, Probolinggo. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of a holistic approach that integrates physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and moral independence, and to provide a learning model that can be widely applied in other early childhood education institutions. The research method used was a qualitative approach with a case study research type. Data were collected through direct observation, interviews with teachers and parents, and analysis of documentation related to the curriculum and child development. The data analysis technique used was thematic analysis to identify the main themes that emerged from the data that had been collected. The results of the study showed that the holistic learning approach applied at RA Dewi Masyitoh succeeded in increasing children's independence in various aspects. Children showed significant abilities in carrying out daily activities independently, interacting with peers, managing emotions, thinking critically, and understanding and applying moral values. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of a comprehensive and integrated learning approach to develop children's independence as a whole.

Abstract

Measuring service satisfaction is essential for evaluating institutional performance; however, manual survey processes often cause delays in data compilation, duplicate entries, and limited analytical capability. This study aims to design and implement a web-based Satisfaction Measurement Information System that automates survey distribution, validation, index computation, and reporting. The system was developed using a structured system development methodology and implemented with modern web technologies that support centralized data management, automated index calculation, and role-based reporting. System evaluation was conducted through User Acceptance Testing (UAT) involving 45 respondents from 12 organizational units. The results show a UAT score of 88.6%, indicating high usability and functional suitability. In addition, the average data processing time was reduced from approximately five days (manual tabulation) to less than 10 minutes through automated computation. The system successfully managed 1,250 survey responses without duplicate records through validation mechanisms. These mechanisms and findings indicate that the proposed system improves the accuracy, processing speed, and accessibility of satisfaction data. This study contributes a practical model of automated satisfaction measurement with centralized analytics to support data-driven decision-making in higher education institutions

Abstract

Elementary school teachers in Kosovo demonstrate positive attitudes toward instructional media, yet their classroom implementation remains limited. Structural constraints, unequal digital infrastructure, insufficient professional development, and weak teacher retention systems hinder the effective integration of instructional media, ultimately constraining pedagogical innovation and the quality of learning in elementary education. This study examines Kosovo primary teachers’ instructional media competency needs, identifies implementation barriers, and formulates effective enhancement strategies by analyzing teacher readiness and contextual constraints in integrating digital and non-digital media into classroom practice. This study employed a descriptive qualitative design involving purposively selected primary teachers, principals, and supervisors from urban and rural schools in Kosovo. Data were collected through interviews, observations, document analysis, and focus group discussions, and analyzed thematically to ensure credibility and contextual depth. This study concludes that teacher competence in Kosovo is shaped by interconnected structural, institutional, and motivational factors rather than individual capacity alone. Limited infrastructure, insufficient professional development, teacher attrition, and weak retention systems undermine learning quality. Despite positive attitudes toward innovation, inadequate educational ecosystems hinder implementation, highlighting the need for integrated, sustainable, and context-sensitive systemic reforms. The findings imply that education improvement in Kosovo requires systemic policy reforms, including sustained professional development, teacher retention strategies, curriculum renewal, and equitable digital infrastructure, to effectively translate teachers’ positive attitudes into improved instructional practices and learning quality.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of personal service, product quality, and comfort on guest satisfaction at Yanyan Resort Ubud, Bali-a competitive hospitality destination renowned for its cultural and natural appeal. Employing a quantitative descriptive approach, data were collected through structured questionnaires distributed to 50 resort guests. The analysis used multiple linear regression after conducting validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests. The results demonstrate that personal service, product quality, and comfort each have a significant and positive effect on guest satisfaction, both individually and collectively. Specifically, personalized attention, well-maintained facilities, and a tranquil environment were key drivers of a satisfactory guest experience. These findings suggest that sustained improvements in service quality, infrastructure, and environmental comfort can substantially enhance guest satisfaction. The study provides practical implications for hospitality managers, recommending regular staff training, continuous facility upgrades, and a strong emphasis on cleanliness and guest-centered services. By implementing these strategies, resorts like Yanyan Resort Ubud can foster customer loyalty, generate positive word-of-mouth, and improve long-term competitiveness in the tourism industry.
