Abstract

Background: The culture of infection prevention and control, including hand hygiene is often not implemented properly by nurses in health services in outpatient units throughout the world. One of the factors related to nurses' compliance behavior in carrying out hand hygiene at inappropriate moments is the quality and quantity of the direction function of the head of the room as the first line manager. Purpose: To optimize the direction function of the head of the room regarding the implementation of nurse hand hygiene compliance in the outpatient room. Method: A descriptive approach, specifically focusing on case report study. The study took place from September-Oktober 2024, in Hospital X, Jakarta. The independent variable was direction function of head nurse the dependent variables is nurses hand hygiene compliance. Using total sampling, 14 respondent were selected, who met specific inclusion and exclusion criteria. The analysis proceeded with a univariate test to determine the frequency distribution of quistioannare characteristics. Results: The evaluation and optimization by the direction function of the head of the room using the WHO multimodal approach, supervision from 69.2% to 90%, motivation from 69.2% to 90%, effective communication from 76.9% to 90%. Conclusion: The implementation of the directing function by the head of the room using the WHO multimodal approach has succeeded in improving the hand hygiene compliance of nurses in the pediatric outpatient room at X Hospital. This is evidenced by the results of the questionnaire survey which showed a significant increase.

Abstract

Organizational culture is summary of shared values, beliefs, or perceptions held by employees in  organization or organizational unit and can influence staff attitudes and behaviors. This has impact the quality of life of nurses, including health, emotional exhaustion, job satisfaction, work stress. . The purpose this study to explore relationship between organizational culture and levels of stress and burnout among nurses in hospitals, provide more objective and comprehensive description of the existing evidence, identify knowledge gaps, and provide recommendations based on consistent findings.This research method is  detailed analysis using the PRISMA flow diagram, Literature search in several databases, namely Proquest, Science Direct, Taylor & Francis Online, PubMed, Sage, Whiley and Scopus which are published. Article quality assessment using the JBI Joanna Briggs Institute Critical Appraisal Checklist for Analytical Cross Sectional Studies. Eleven articles were identified and analyzed that met the inclusion criteria; articles have abstract and full text, search type in the database with journal articles, published in English, articles published in the last 10 years 2014 - 2024, articles discussing organizational culture; positive organizational culture consisting of; open and transparent communication, strong social support, good teamwork, trust and appreciation for nurses, safe and comfortable work environment, articles discussing stress levels and burnout of nurses in hospitals. Exclusion criteria: articles cannot be accessed as full text, books, are literature reviews, theses, books. The results of the synthesis show a positive organizational culture is less likely to indicate stress levels and burnout in nurses.

Abstract

Pendahuluan Pendokumentasi keperawatan bertujuan untuk menunjukkan akuntabilitas dan tanggung jawab tindakan perawat. Dokumentasi yang tidak memadai mempengaruhi kesehatan, keselamatan pasien serta kualitas pelayanan. Pendokumentasi keperawatan elektronik adalah system catatan yang menggunakan komputer untuk mengetahui tindakan yang dilakukan oleh perawat dalam menjalankan proses keperawatan. Tujuan Memberikan gambaran secara umum mengenai manfaat pendokumentasi keperawatan berbasis elektronik. Metode menggunakan metode literature review dari berbagai jenis metode penelitian, termasuk studi cross sectional, literatur review, desain restrospektif komparatif, kuasi eksperimental, metode pendekatan kualitas pra dan pasca regresi logistic multilevel univariat dan multivariat, pengembangan kusioner, tinjauan Pustaka prisma. Hasil Analis jurnal didapatkan bahwa pendokumentasian keperawatan berbasis elektronik memiliki manfaat dalam meningkatkan keakuratan dan kecepatan dalam mengelolah informasi, efektifitas pengelolaan data pasien serta meningkatkan mutu pelayanan keperawatan dan keselamatan pasien. Kesimpulan dari segi efisiensi, efektifitas ,fokus pasien dan akurasi waktu dokumentasi keperawatan berbasis elektronik lebih berkualitas dibandingkan dokumentasi berbasis kertas.
