Abstract

The discussion in this article focuses on the bureaucracy and cultural behavior of the organization in one of the Islamic educational institutions in the city of Yogyakarta. In this paper the author focuses on Al-Munawwir Islamic Boarding School Complex Q Krapyak Yogyakarta in maintaining and advancing its existence towards implementing institutional bureaucracy in building organizational behavior and culture. The research method used was a descriptive qualitative study. Data collection techniques in this paper through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results of this study indicate that the success of Islamic educational institutions certainly can not be separated from how the role of a dialogic bureaucracy in the distribution of structures, tasks and institutional elements that are formulated through discussion rooms or deliberations, behavior and organizational culture with a rolling job system and instill attitudes of Islamic moral values and preserving the culture of Javanese people by making it a habit to communicate using local languages to instill cultural values by building a sense of ukhuwah in organizing within the scope of the Al-Munawwir Islamic Boarding School Complex Q Krapyak Yogyakarta

Abstract

The specialty of one of the things that underlies Yogyakarta is called a student city of course because of the educational climate in the region. With a work area that is relatively not too broad and the quantity of institutions that are not too many the Ministry of Religion is one of the government agencies, especially in the field of Islamic Education. This is certainly able to make it as an advantage and convenience in creating the development of Islamic education in the work area that is superior to other work areas. The research method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and study documentation. The results of this study indicate that in general educational policy in the aspect of developing / fostering Islamic Education in the Ministry of Religion in Yogyakarta is more guided than the RI Ministry of Religion program. However, in its implementation in the city of Yogyakarta, these programs are relatively easier to do, one of which is because the area coverage is not too broad. Institutionally, within the framework of the policy of developing Islamic education guidance in the Ministry of Religion of the City of Yogyakarta dividing management responsibilities to three work units, namely the Islamic Education Section (PAIS), the Madrasah Education Section (PENMAD) and the Diniyah Education Section and Islamic Boarding School (PD PONTREN). The Islamic Education Section (PAIS) has a working area on fostering and managing Islamic education in public schools at all levels, the Madrasah Education Section (PENMAD) in Islamic education houses all levels in Madrasas as well as the Diniyah Education and Islamic Boarding Schools (PD PONTREN) responsible responsible for fostering ongoing Islamic education in Madrasah Diniyah including TPA and Islamic Boarding School, so that each of these sections has a policy of developing Islamic Education in its own work program.

Abstract

Leadership in an educational institution is one of the determining factors in the success of aneducational institution. Through a good system and pattern of leadership, educationalinstitutions will be able to know where they want to go and reach clearly. Spiritual intelligenceis needed for a leader to lead an educational institution, especially Islamic educationalinstitutions. In the scope of leadership based on spiritual values, the orientation of all itsactivities is as a manifestation of worship and a means of devotion to God. Therefore, thejournal discusses the concept of spiritual leadership in Islamic educational institutions Maqashid Sharia perspective in terms of dharuriyyat starting from the side of hifdz al-din, hifdzal-nafs, hifdz al-aql, hifdz al-nasl and hifdz al-mal and its implementation in the Da'wahManagement Study Program of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. This research uses descriptivequalitative study methods. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews anddocumentation. The results showed that the head of the department in this study program hada main program in education and training as part of the development of spiritual leadership.Through this case, the head of the department and the lecturer do not simply abort theadministrative obligations, namely to carry out the learning process, but also as a means ofdevotion to God. In addition, spiritual leadership is demonstrated through exemplary efforts tothe characteristics of the Prophet, namely siddiq, amanah, tabligh, and fathanah as well asvarious forms of policies implemented by the Chair of the Department aiming to achieve mutualbenefit.
