Abstract

Nowadays, renewable energy is an important energy. This study aims to analyze the performance of Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) in Stand-Alone Photovoltaic (PV) systems in dealing with gradual changes in solar irradiation. The main focus of the study is the comparison between irradiaton to MPPT product. The research methodology involves the use of several types and sizes of PV to obtain representative data. Variations in solar irradiation intensity are used to simulate various real conditions. The initial objective is to assess the performance of specially designed MPPT and ensure that the system can function properly in optimizing PV power under changing irradiation conditions. The main objective is to analyze the performance of MPPT in Stand-Alone Photovoltaic systems as a whole, considering variations in PV types and sizes, as well as differences in solar irradiation levels. The results of this study are expected to provide in-depth insight into the effectiveness of MPPT under various operational conditions. Trials were conducted both in the laboratory and in the field to ensure the validity of the results. Thus, this study makes a significant contribution to the development of more reliable and efficient Stand-Alone Photovoltaic technology. The findings of this study are expected to be the basis for improving MPPT design and increasing the performance of Stand-Alone Photovoltaic systems in dealing with environmental variations and different operational conditions.

Abstract

Solar Panel have become one of the main solutions in dealing with dependence on fossil energy and to support energy sustainability. This research aims to analyze the impact of using solar panels on self-use in power plant administration buildings by considering efficiency, cost savings and their contribution to reducing carbon emissions. Based on data on energy use and solar energy production in 2023 at power plants in Jakarta, it was found that the implementation of Solar Panel can produceĀ  697,349,378 kWh of energy and can significantly reduce operational costs by Rp 923,879,937.66

Abstract

Frekuensi jaringan listrik merupakan parameter penting dalam kestabilan sistem tenaga listrik. Perubahanfrekuensi dapat berdampak langsung terhadap operasi pembangkit, khususnya pada pembangkit listrik tenaga gasdan uap (PLTGU) yang memiliki karakteristik dinamis. PLTGU yang memiliki konfigurasi 1-1-1 yang terdiri atasturbin gas, HRSG dan turbin uap dilengkapi LFC dan governor pada turbin gasnya sedangkan turbin uap hanyaakan menjadi follower dari turbin gas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh perubahan frekuensiterhadap perubahan beban yang ditanggung oleh PLTGU. Metodologi penelitian menggunakan pendekatankuantitatif dengan data historis dari sistem pembangkit . Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penurunan frekuensicenderung meningkatkan beban pada turbin gas dan turbin uap karena sistem kontrol pembangkit berusahamenjaga kestabilan daya. Sebaliknya, peningkatan frekuensi menurunkan respons beban. Penelitian inimemberikan kontribusi dalam perencanaan sistem kendali frekuensi yang lebih adaptif untuk pembangkit bebanmenengah seperti PLTGU.
