Abstract

Work motivation is crucial in enhancing employee performance and productivity, especially in the Islamic banking sector. This study analyzes intrinsic factors influencing the work motivation of Community Officers at Bank BTPN Syariah MMS Rantau Rasau based on Herzberg’s Two-Factor Theory. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data was collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that intrinsic factors contributing to motivation include achievement, recognition, responsibility, the nature of the work, and career development opportunities. Among these, achievement and recognition are the most dominant factors influencing work motivation. Community Officers who receive appreciation for their achievements and recognition from superiors and colleagues tend to demonstrate higher morale and commitment. Therefore, this study recommends that Bank BTPN Syariah emphasize achievement and recognition in human resource management policies. Providing rewards for accomplishments and constructive feedback can enhance employee motivation and performance, ultimately supporting organizational goals.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze in depth the actualization of school leadership based on the values of Ahlussunnah Wal Jama'ah (Aswaja) at SDIT Mutiara Palabuhanratu, Sukabumi Regency. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation studies of various parties involved in school management. The results of the study show that school leadership integrates Aswaja values, namely tawassuth (moderate), tawazun (balanced), i'tidal (firm/straight), and tasamuh (tolerant), in policy making, curriculum management, and character development of students. The actualization of these values has an impact on the creation of a harmonious, inclusive, and oriented learning environment for the development of moderate Islamic character. An important point found is the integration of Aswaja values in the school's visions and missions, student discipline, and religious programs such as morning dhikr and dawn lectures. These programs support the formation of righteous, intelligent, and outstanding students, while strengthening the school's identity as an educational institution based on moderate Islamic values. This research confirms that Aswaja-based leadership not only serves as a normative guideline, but also as a practical strategy in building a school culture that is sustainable and relevant to the needs of the community.

Abstract

Learning planning is a strategic component of instructional management because it guides teachers in linking objectives, materials, learning strategies, media, and assessment with students' characteristics. In practice, however, learning plans are often prepared individually and tend to be administrative, so teachers have limited opportunities to reflect on pedagogical decisions with colleagues. This study aims to describe and analyze collaborative-based learning planning management in improving teachers' pedagogical competence at SD Negeri Batujaya. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study strategy. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, and were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The field data show that SD Negeri Batujaya has nine educators and education personnel consisting of one principal, six classroom teachers, and two subject teachers. The school also holds a teacher learning community twice a month. The findings indicate that collaborative planning is supported by the principal's academic leadership, the small number of teachers that enables intensive coordination, and the existence of a routine learning community. Collaboration helps teachers discuss teaching modules, student characteristics, learning strategies, media, and assessment. The main constraints are limited time, unequal teacher participation, and limited learning facilities. The study implies that a structured learning community can serve as a practical managerial strategy for strengthening teachers' pedagogical competence in elementary schools.
