Abstract

This study reviews the fabrication methods and compositions of aluminum matrix composites reinforced with Carbon Nanotubes (CNTs), aiming to enhance the mechanical properties of aluminum composites. The methods analyzed include ball milling, spark plasma extrusion (SPE), and chemical vapor deposition (CVD), each showing unique advantages in improving tensile strength, hardness, wear resistance, and thermal conductivity. The study highlights significant findings, such as SPE's ability to address CNT agglomeration, ensuring a more homogeneous distribution, and increasing material density. Results also reveal the effectiveness of CNT coatings in improving electromagnetic shielding performance and thermal conductivity for extreme conditions. The significance of this research lies in identifying optimal fabrication techniques and compositions, offering valuable insights for advancing lightweight, high-strength materials in automotive, aerospace, and other industries. This study emphasizes the potential of Al-CNT composites as superior materials for industrial applications and the need for further exploration of hybrid fabrication methods and CNT types.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini membahas metode inspeksi dan perbaikan pada bilah turbin. Untuk memperbaiki bilah turbin ini, dilakukan proses gerinda yang kemudian diukur dengan metode pengukuran Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) untuk melakukan pengkuran secara akurat dimensi dan sudut deviasa bilah turbin. Setelah dilakukannya proses perbaikan dan pengukuran dilakukan proses balancing untuk memastikan bahwa turbin dalam keadaan stabil untuk operasional. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan keefektifan proses gerinda bilah turbin yang kemudian diukur dengan metode CMM dalam proses perbaikan bilah turbin. Kata kunci: grinding, pengukuran cmm, balancing, turbin AbstractThis study discusses inspection and repair methods for turbine blades. To repair the turbine blades, a grinding process is carried out and then measured using the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) method to accurately measure the dimensions and deviation angles of the turbine blades. After the repair and measurement process, a balancing process was carried out to ensure that the turbine was in a stable operational state. The results of this study show the effectiveness of the turbine blade grinding process which is then measured by the CMM method in the turbine blade repair process. Keywords: grinding, cmm gauge, balancing, turbine
