Abstract

This study aims to describe teachers' strategies in handling slow learner students in Grade IV at SDN 2 Kuripan Selatan, It focuses on teachers' strategies in classroom management, motivating slow learners, and treating slow learners in the classroom. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects of this study are the fourth-grade teacher and two slow learner students. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis follows the Miles and Huberman model, which consists of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that teachers use the following strategies to handle slow learners: 1) classroom management strategies, which involve arranging the seating position of slow learners. Their seats remain unchanged and are always placed in the back row. The teaching methods commonly used for slow learners include lectures, demonstrations, question and answer sessions, and assignments. Teachers utilize learning media such as laptops and LCD projectors to display power point presentations or educational videos in the form of cartoons, animations, and colorful images. 2) strategies to motivate slow learners, including providing various forms of emotional support, such as praise, applause, and positive affirmations. 3) strategies for treating slow learners, which involve giving special treatment such as repeating learning materials, using easily understandable language, guiding students in completing assignments, and providing additional time to complete tasks.

Abstract

Learning in the era of society 5.0 is an innovation in the world of technology whose aim is to solve problems that arise in the era 4.0. One of the educational technologies and information that is increasingly being developed is ARB (Augmented Reality Book) technology. The objectives of research and development of augmented reality book-based media are: to determine the validity and practicality of augmented reality book-based media in science subjects for grade 4 elementary school students. In this development research, researchers used ADDIE development research which refers to the five stages in the ADDIE model. The data collection techniques used were interviews, media expert validation questionnaires, material experts, student and teacher response questionnaires and documentation at SDN 5 Mataram. The results of this research show that the ARB media validation obtained a mean score of 87.5 with a final percentage of 88% which was categorized as "Very Valid". Material validation obtained an average score of 67.5 with a final percentage of 90% which was categorized as "Very Valid". The small group trial received an overall percentage of 90% in the "Very Practical" category. The large group trial received an overall percentage of 93% in the "Very Practical" category. Therefore, it can be concluded that based on the results of the data analysis obtained, ARB-based media in science subjects can be declared valid and practical.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the creativity of low-grade teachers in using mathematics learning media for numeracy material at SDN 1 Peteluan Indah. The research method used is qualitative method, the subject of the theme in this study is 4 low grade teachers and 1 principal. Data analysis was performed using Miles and Huberman analysis. The results of data analysis show that teacher creativity can be seen from four aspects, namely fluency of thinking, flexibility of thinking, originality and elaboration. The results of research conducted at SDN 1 Peteluan Indah about the creativity of low-grade teachers using mathematics learning media numeracy material, the results showed that not all low-grade teachers at SDN 1 Peteluan Indah had criteria from these four aspects, which was due to teachers still low knowledge about creativity, less optimal in alternative uses of learning media, and the media used was still very simple. However, low-grade teachers at SDN 1 Peteluan Indah continue to strive to hone their creativity and teachers continue to use learning media when pursuing even though they use simple materials that can be obtained at school and in the student's home environment.
