Abstract

of work motivation and employee engagement on employee performance. This research is quantitative in nature, and the data collection methods used are questionnaires and interviews. The population in this study consists of all employees of PT XYZ, totaling 32 people. The sample size taken in this study is 32 employees. The sampling technique used in this study is a census or saturated sampling, where the entire population is used as the sample. Based on the research findings and data analysis using SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions), the results show that: (1) Work motivation has a positive and significant influence on employee performance. (2) Employee engagement has a positive and significant influence on employee performance. (3) Work motivation and employee engagement together have a positive and significant influence on employee performance. The implication of these conclusions is that efforts to improve employee performance at PT XYZ should focus on enhancing work motivation and employee engagement so that employee performance can also improve.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effect of Product Quality and Service Quality on Purchasing Decisions at Mie Gacoan, Marapalam branch in Padang City (Case study of undergraduate students of Management at Unidha)". The population in this study were 414 undergraduate students of Management at Dharma Andalas University, Padang, with a sample size of 104 respondents. Data were obtained by distributing questionnaires, then processed and tested using IBM SPSS Statistics 22. From the research conducted, it is known that based on the results of hypothesis testing, 1). Product Quality has a positive and significant effect on Purchasing Decisions, 2). Service Quality has a positive and significant effect on Purchasing Decisions, 3). Product Quality and Service Quality have a positive and significant effect on Purchasing Decisions. Furthermore, the Purchasing Decision variable is influenced by Product Quality and Service Quality by 61.1%, which is classified as moderate, the remaining 38.9% is influenced by other variables not included in this study, namely Marketing Strategy, Lifestyle, and Purchase Interest.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of discounts and free shipping on purchasing decisions. The population used in this research is undergraduate management and tourism undergraduate majors, economics and business faculty, Dharma Andalas University. This research used 109 respondents, using the Roasoft formula as a sampling technique. Hypothesis testing in this research uses statistical analysis consisting of validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, t test, F test (hypothesis test) and multiple determination coefficient (R2) using SPSS (Statistics Product and Service Solution) software version 25. Research data comes from primary data and is taken by distributing questionnaires. The results of this research show that discounts have a significant influence on purchasing decisions, while free shipping has a significant influence on purchasing decisions. Simultaneously, all variables, namely Discounts and Free Shipping, have a significant influence on Student Purchasing Decisions (S1 Management and S1 Tourism Studies, Faculty of Economics and Business, Dharma Andalas University).
