Abstract

The effect of education on the performance of nurses in health services through competence as an intervention variable (study on nurses at the Kowel Health Center, Pamekasan Regency). Wijaya Putra University Postgraduate Program in Surabaya. This type of research is explanatory research, the approach used is a quantitative approach, the research sample is 58 people. The analysis tool uses Smart PLS (Partial Least Square). Research objectives: 1) To describe the education, training, competence and performance of nurses in health service policies at the Kowel Health Center, Pamekasan Regency. . 2) To find out and analyze whether education has an influence on the performance of nurses in efforts to provide health services at the Kowel Health Center, Pamekasan Regency. 3) To find out and analyze whether education has an influence on competence in callisng for health services at the Kowel Health Center, Pamekasan Regency. 4) To find out and analyze whether competence has an influence on the performance of nurses in efforts to provide health services at the Kowel Health Center, Pamekasan Regency. 5) To find out and analyze whether education has an influence on the performance of nurses at the Kowel Health Center in Pamekasan Regency in efforts to provide health services through competence as an intervention variable. The results showed that: 1) Education has a positive and significant effect on nurse performance as evidenced by the original sample value of 0.528. 2) Education has a positive and significant effect on content as evidenced by the original sample value of 0.362. 3) Competence on nurse performance has a positive and significant effect as evidenced by the original sample value that is equal to 0.540. 4) Education on nurse performance mediated by content has a positive and significant effect as evidenced by the original sample value that is equal to 0.285.
