Abstract

ABSTRAKKecerdasan interpersonal sangat penting bagi anak usia dini karena berperan dalam perkembangan sosial dan emosional mereka. Namun, metode pembelajaran konvensional sering kali kurang efektif dalam mengembangkan keterampilan ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menguji efektivitas media Pop-Up Book dalam meningkatkan kecerdasan interpersonal anak usia 5–6 tahun di TK Kartika IV–69 Kota Probolinggo. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE, melibatkan validasi oleh ahli materi, ahli media, dan guru, serta uji coba pada 30 anak menggunakan desain quasi-experiment. Data dikumpulkan melalui pre-test dan post-test, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelompok eksperimen mengalami peningkatan skor lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelompok kontrol (p = 0,001). Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa Pop-Up Book lebih efektif dibandingkan metode konvensional dan dapat diimplementasikan sebagai media inovatif dalam pendidikan anak usia dini. However, conventional teaching methods are often ineffective in fostering these skills. This study aims to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of Pop-Up Book media in enhancing the interpersonal intelligence of children aged 5–6 years at TK Kartika IV–69 Kota Probolinggo. The research employs a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, involving validation by subject matter experts, media experts, and teachers, followed by testing on 30 children using a quasi-experimental design. Data were collected through pre-test and post-test assessments and analyzed using the Mann-Whitney test. The results indicate that the experimental group showed a significantly higher improvement compared to the control group (p = 0.001). These findings suggest that Pop-Up Books are more effective than conventional methods and can be implemented as an innovative educational tool for early childhood learning.
