Abstract

This study examines the concept of the educational environment in the Qur’an through a tarbawi interpretative approach to selected tarbiyah verses. The educational environment plays a significant role in shaping learners’ personality, morality, and spirituality within Islamic education. This research employs a qualitative library research method. Primary data consist of Qur’anic verses related to education and classical as well as contemporary tarbawi exegeses, while secondary data are drawn from Islamic education literature. Data were analyzed using thematic content analysis. The findings reveal that the Qur’an offers a comprehensive framework of the educational environment encompassing three interconnected dimensions: family, school, and social environment. These environments collectively function as foundational spaces for the internalization of Islamic values and character development. This study highlights that a Qur’anic-based understanding of the educational environment provides important conceptual and practical implications for developing holistic, value-oriented, and contextually relevant Islamic education in contemporary society.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze how the transformation of interpretation in the Archipelago can be used as a source of contextual learning in Islamic Religious Education (PAI), especially in the Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Nurani Bogor environment. Interpretation as a science that bridges the understanding of the verses of the Qur'an plays an important role in the process of learning Islamic Religious Education. However, in practice, the learning of interpretation in schools, including at MA Nurani Bogor, is still dominated by a textual approach that does not sufficiently link the meaning of the verses to the social, cultural, and real-life contexts of students. Students often have difficulty in understanding the relevance of the messages of the Qur'an to contemporary issues because the approach used tends to be classical. The transformation of interpretation that has developed in the Archipelago actually has great potential as a source of more contextual learning. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, which is carried out through learning observations, interviews with teachers and students, and documentation of learning materials. The results of the study showed an increase in students' understanding in interpreting interpretations, thus opening up opportunities for students to be more implementative and contextual in practicing the contents of the interpretation.

Abstract

Studies on nutrition from a Quranic perspective have largely focused on normative aspects regarding halal (permissible) and tayyib (wholesome) food and health, whereas research linking Quranic nutritional values ​​to the Islamic educational framework as a process for shaping awareness and behavior remains underdeveloped. This study aims to analyze nutritional values ​​in the Quran using a thematic exegesis (tafsir maudhu’i) approach and to explain their relevance to Islamic education. Employing a qualitative, library-based research method, the study analyzes Quranic verses concerning food, consumption, balance, and bodily maintenance. The results reveal a conceptual link between Quranic values, nutritional knowledge, awareness, habituation, and healthy consumption behavior, forming an educational sequence oriented toward Islamic character building. These findings are derived from a synthesis of literature and thematic exegesis rather than empirical model testing. Unlike previous empirical studies that measured the impact of nutrition education on eating habits, this study contributes a conceptual framework explaining the role of Quranic nutritional values ​​within Islamic education. This study serves as a theoretical foundation for future research on the implementation of nutrition education based on Islamic values.

Abstract

Integrasi ilmu merupakan salah satu upaya strategis untuk mengatasi dikotomi antara ilmu agama dan ilmu pengetahuan umum yang berkembang dalam tradisi pendidikan modern. Dikotomi tersebut tidak hanya berdampak pada perkembangan keilmuan umat Islam, tetapi juga memengaruhi kemampuan lembaga pendidikan Islam dalam merespons perkembangan sains, teknologi, dan berbagai persoalan masyarakat kontemporer. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengertian, sejarah, signifikansi, paradigma, model, serta implementasi integrasi ilmu sebagai salah satu faktor yang dapat mendukung kemajuan peradaban bangsa. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi ilmu menempatkan berbagai disiplin keilmuan dalam suatu hubungan yang saling melengkapi dengan tauhid sebagai landasan epistemologis. Dalam perkembangannya, terdapat empat paradigma utama integrasi ilmu, yaitu islamisasi ilmu, ilmuisasi Islam, integrasi-interkoneksi, dan transdisipliner. Selain itu, berkembang berbagai model integrasi keilmuan, antara lain model IFIAS, ASASI, Islamic Worldview, Struktur Pengetahuan Islam, Bucaillisme, integrasi berbasis filsafat klasik, tasawuf, dan fikih. Implementasi integrasi ilmu di Indonesia tercermin dalam pengembangan kurikulum pendidikan serta transformasi Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam menjadi Universitas Islam Negeri yang mengembangkan ilmu agama, sosial-humaniora, sains, dan teknologi secara lebih terintegrasi. Integrasi ilmu dengan demikian memiliki posisi penting dalam menghapus dikotomi keilmuan, membangun kembali tradisi keilmuan Islam, serta menghasilkan sarjana Muslim yang mampu menguasai ilmu agama sekaligus sains dan teknologi. Penguatan implementasi integrasi ilmu diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi terhadap kemajuan peradaban bangsa Indonesia menuju Indonesia Emas 2045.
