Abstract

Solar radiation measurements in climatology station barongan done by using campbell stokes and record card. Solar radiation is the accumulation of the whole length of the object radiation recorded on the record card. Solar radiation data reading performed by observers by estimating the long of object irradiation compared with the scale of hours listed on the record card. The difficulties encountered by observers in conducting solar radiation data readout is the shape of the object radiation recorded on the record card are not always in the form of elongated areas, some areas disjointed, even can only form small holes along the track on the card record. The purpose of this study was to design and build a system that can be used to calculate solar radiation recorded on the card record, thus increasing the accuracy of measurement data readout. Cropping process is carried out in order to obtain the right area for analysis. The approach method in object segmentation is done by implementing a solar radiation threshold otsu method. The test results showed that the determination o f the radius o f the opening and removing noise value appropriately irradiation can obtain the number o f objects on test images with RMSEof1.4429 compared with the amount o f exposure o f the image o f the original object. Results o f calculation solar radiation by the system showed system RMSE o f 0,51 to observer calculation.

Abstract

Video Call is a set of interactive telecommunication technologies which allow two parties of people in different locations can interact via two-way delivery of audio and video in real time. Tools to sketch pictures and writings on the application ViCall aims to facilitate educators do the learning process using media with video call implementation sketch pictures and writings as explanatory. Educators start doing sketches image and writings and then saved. After that upload sketches image and writings made by educators can then be shown to the students. The results of the testing of the application can be run on at least speksifikasi android kitkat v4.4.4. On testing provider obtained the average connection time 8.33 seconds. Based on a questionnaire, test this application generates 84.4% by criteria of "very good".

Abstract

At an event, the event organizer usually requires guest stars as performers. Event organizers often find it difficult to find a guest star that suits their needs for their event. The purpose of this research is to build an e-marketplace application as a web-based decision support system that can be used to find alternative decisions to choose guest stars according to the criteria using product weighting methods. The weighted product method is one of the methods that can be applied to web-based decision support system applications for determining guest stars in e-marketplaces. There are three criteria used to determine guest stars in this e-marketplace, these criteria are the type of show, price and location. As for the alternatives that were tested, there were nine alternatives consisting of guest stars in Yogyakarta. Functionality testing is carried out using the black box method and the result is that all functions and validation buttons on the e-marketplace can function properly. The result of calculation using the weighted product method is the guest star with the highest yield is Frengki Sermadi with a value of 0.135234, while the guest star with the lowest result is Sanggar Titik Dua with a value of 0.083222.

Abstract

Transportation has become a human need today, one of which is air transportation, namely airplanes. In order for the aircraft to be used properly and comfortably, it is necessary to carry out routine maintenance, especially before flying. Problems caused by aircraft engines are sometimes small problems that do not require a high level of knowledge. To overcome this, maybe someone who has very basic knowledge of aircraft engines can do it. But sometimes these problems also require a high level of expertise regarding these components so that they require technicians or experts to repair them. Through this application, users can consult the system such as consulting with experts to find out the symptoms that occur on the plane and find solutions to the problems encountered. The expert system built using the Hill Climbing Heuristic method resulted in 72.67% when tested on respondents.

Abstract

Expert systems are systems that adopt human knowledge into computers designed to solve problems like an expert. Salak plants, especially in TuriSleman Yogyakarta area has several obstacles such as diseases and pests in salak plants which is a problem for salak farmers. Expert research Expert system to diagnose diseases and pests in this salak crop helps salak farmers overcome the problems of disease and pests. Salak farmers only need to enter the symptoms experienced in the barking plants later data will be processed symptoms entered by the system. This application performs checks with the system as consulted with a salak plant experts to find out the diseases and pests that attack on the barking plants and find solutions. Implementation in this application using TOPSIS method, TOPSIS method yields the highest rank value for the final result value. This application takes data and performs testing in UPT BP4 Region V Sleman with Turi OPT (Plant-disturbing organisms) officer.

Abstract

Active-Passive Sentences Converter is an android-based application that aims to transform active sentences into passive voice, it’s expected to facitate help elementary school children especially in particular to transform the active-passive sentences. The system on the application does not work if the entered sentences does not meet the S-P-O element, and for the predicate is not the same  as the active verb. If the user has entered the sentence in accordance with the standard active sentence then system will move the object on the active sentence into the subject on the passive sentence as well as the subject becomes the object, and replace the active verb into a passive verb with the particle di- on the predicate. This application can only be operated at least on 4.4 Kitkat android version. The result of the application tested was awesome with the 92% of correct percentage, after applied at three elementary schools are SD Jomblangan, SDN Adisucipto, SDIT Salsabila Al Muthi’in, SDN Berbah 1 and SD Muhammadiyah Noyokerten.

Abstract

In general, video compression only compresses video files without compressing the audio files in them. This results in the compression process not being maximized.This study discusses the process of compressing video and audio files to get maximum compression. The application built is a web-based video compression software utilizing FFmpeg to do the compression process by breaking down the original video which has a resolution of 720 to 4 files, namely 720, 480, 360, and 240 resolutions. The test is done by comparing the compression results only to video files and compressing to video and audio and there is a 1-2 MB file size difference, whereas when compared to the original file, there is a 5-20 MB size difference. In addition to conducting this test also performed compression testing on different devices and obtained relatively similar results on all devices. Test the image quality on the compressed file obtained the image quality results in the standard video compression below 30dB results.

Abstract

Lamp is a kind of electronic that created light. Light is obtained through the flow of electricity as a current to add a voltage. the die and the life of light are controled  by humans using switch. Applying the  Internet of Things, as known as IoT determined the life and the die of a lamp by determined by the active light censor. The die and the life of the lamp automatically depends on the light sensor by capturing the intensity of the light produced. The result of the function test found that the data in the form of lux value generated by the light sensor, the value is exposed on a website with the display of graphics and websites serve as a web service provides control values to determine the response lamp, if the value of lux above 30 percent then the lights off And vice versa if under 30 percent of the lamps are on, so that a small value will be sent to the lamp and the lamp will respond that the lights are off or on. So that humans only act as a watchdog and control of the value generated by the light sensor.

Abstract

Weaning REX rabbits child is one of the keys to success in raising or cultivating rabbits. Unsuitable weaning can result in very high mortality or mortality risks, while weaning for too long results in decreased productivity and the possible marriage of children with rabbit parent. The research done is to design and build the application of decision support system (DSS) with Simple Additive Weighting method (SAW) with 5 criteria as supporting of DSS calculation that are body weight (gram), body length (cm), still breastfeeding or not, already independent for food or not and Gender. The webased DSS application created is tested  by using the calculation system compared with research data. Based on the test of 36 rabbit children which is derived from previous research results obtained showed that the application of the DSS are built 100% the same result.

Abstract

Yogyakarta is a province that has many excellent tourist destination. In this research will be discussed about choosing an accurate tourist spot for tourists by using decision-making system with weighted product method, in this thesis the writer take 3 criterion as supporting of SPK calculation that is cost, mileage and tourist visit. SPK application created has various features such as the calculation of the ranking value of each resort, location information and other supporting information. In this study produce an android application that serves as a supporter in decision making a tourist who will travel. Based on testing done this SPK application displays an accurate calculation with a calculation difference of 0.00587 of manual calculations. Applications that are made to run minimal on android version 4.0.3 is ice cream sandwich or above. The average value generated from the tests and trials with the questionnaire yielded a value of 70.95% scale, so the tests and trials based on the questionnaires were included in very good category.
