Abstract

Loneliness is a serious problem for older people, and can have a negative impact on their mental and physical health. Many of them experience feelings of isolation due to the loss of family and social environment, let alone living and settling in a retirement home or nursing home. A qualitative study was conducted to explore the role of pastoral care in addressing this loneliness. The research involved in-depth interviews and participatory observation with 5 elderly people who participated in the pastoral care program, as well as nursing home staff and assistants. The results showed that pastoral care not only reduced loneliness, but also improved their quality of life through stronger social relationships. This study is important because it incorporates spiritual and emotional aspects in the context of pastoral care, and prioritizes the experiences of older adults as an important element in understanding social support in Lydia's elderly home. The findings have the potential to provide recommendations for the development of a more effective pastoral care program, which could ultimately improve the well-being of the elderly in Lydia Tomohon.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk meneliti penyebab fenomena jemaat yang pindah ke denominasi gereja lain terlebih khususnya dalam lingkup pemuda yang terjadi di GMIM Via Dolorosa Singkil Gunung Potong. Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengarahkan pelsus kepada langkah penginjilan dalam menangani fenomena jemaat pindah gereja dan jemaat yang beribadah di gereja lain dan juga untuk mengarahkan komisi pelayanan pemuda jemaat terhadap langkah penginjilan dalam menangani menurunnya antusiasme pemuda dalam kegiatan ibadah pemuda aras jemaat di GMIM Via Dolorosa Singkil Gunung Potong. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dapat disimpulkan bahwa bukan karena masalah penginjilan yang ada di GMIM tapi karena ada beberapa faktor internal yang berdampak pada fenomena pindah jemaat ke gereja lain.

Abstract

There are not a few church denominations in the world, but there are a lot of them. Talking about church denominations, it is a Christian religion that is formed in one organization that exists regarding leadership, ways of worship and congregations working or trying to work together hand in hand without tearing each other down to achieve goals or cohesiveness within an existing organization. Many Church Denominations exist and we have the right to choose and make decisions about where we will be registered in a Church Denomination. However, this does not mean that we are registered in two Church Denominations at will or as we please. This research uses quantitative methods. The purpose of this research is to inform congregation members to be able to make existing decisions and settle in one church denomination. It is hoped that the results of this research will provide understanding to congregation members not to join two church denominations and provide pastoral assistance as well as pastoral review for congregation members who follow two church denominations.

Abstract

This research discusses teenagers who experience the impact of divorce. Divorce is the end of a relationship between a husband and wife who are unable to maintain the integrity of the household. And the people who have the biggest impact on divorce cases are the children. Children are victims of the divorce that occurs. This research is intended to determine the impact of divorce on teenagers and appropriate pastoral care for teenagers in the GMIM Kingdom of Allah Lolah Congregation, Tanawangko I Region. This research uses a qualitative research method with a case study method with direct interviews with informants. The results of this research indicate that adolescent victims of divorce must be accompanied and receive continuous pastoral care. This is because teenage victims of divorce feel deep trauma regarding divorce, so they need to receive pastoral assistance.
