Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to describe and explain the performance of employees who are influenced by the work environment. This research was conducted at Novotel Bali Nusa Dua Hotel & Residencies. Research methodology: This type of research uses quantitative methods with a population of 62 employees.Results: The data analysis technique used in this study is Simple Linear Regression Analysis, t-test, and Coefficient of Determination (R2). The data analysis technique used in the study was to process data through the SPSS version 25 statistics program for Windows. The results of the hypothesis in a partial t-test obtained that the t count of the Work Environment variable is 8.199 where the probability is greater than t table 1.669 with a significant level of 0.000 less than 0.05 which means that there is a significant influence between the work environment and employee performance at Novotel Bali Nusa Dua Hotel & Residences.Conclusions: This study concluded that there is a significant influence between the work environment on employee performance at Novotel. The positive relationship indicates that the better the work environment provided, the higher the employee performance. The results of the t test and the coefficient of determination reinforce that the work environment is an important factor that is able to explain 52.8% of the variation in employee performance.Limitations: The work environment has a strong enough influence on employee performance, this is seen from the results of the coefficient of determination, the work environment variable has a contribution of 52.8% to employee performance, and the remaining 47.2% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.Contribution: This research provides a practical contribution for company management in understanding the importance of creating a conducive work environment to improve employee performance. In addition, academically, this research adds empirical references regarding the relationship between work environment and employee performance, especially in the context of the hospitality industry.Keywords: Keywords: Employee Performance, Leadership Style, Work Motivation How to Cite: Pramesti, N, K, R. Abstract

Pelatihan ini merupakan agenda lanjutan yang sebelumnya juga sudah pernah dilakukan di SMKN 1 Nusa Penida. Namun dalam pelatihan ini, menyuguhkan materi yang berbeda, diantaranya, Art Towel, Honeymoon Set up, dan Snack Wraping. Materi ini merupakan hard skill yang wajib dimiliki oleh hotelier khususnya di department Housekeeping. Tidak jarang alasan wisatawan yang menginap di hotel adalah untuk merayakan moment special mereka biasanya dengan memesan pelayanan kamar seperti Art Towel, Honeymoon Set up, Birthday decoration. Dalam pelatihan Art Towel, para peserta diajarkan segala bentuk lipatan seperti bentuk angsa, monyet, gajah, burung, serta berbagai bentuk lainnya. Berikutnya pada pelatihan Honeymoon Set up, para peserta diajarkan merangkai lipatan towel tadi, serta diajarkan juga membuat tulisan dengan menggunakan rangkaian bunga yang menambah kesan romantis. Terakhir pada pelatihan snack wraping, para peserta diajarkan merangkai snack/makanan ringan berbentuk seperti bouquet bunga yang nanti ini juga dapat dipadupadankan dengan hiasan honeymoon set up. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh dari kegiatan pengabdian ini peserta memiliki pengetahuan lebih terkait Art Towel, Honeymoon Set Up, dan Snack wrap, karena dalam kurikulum, tidak terdapat mata Art Towel, Honeymoon Set Up, dan Snack wrap.   This training is a continuation of the agenda that was previously carried out at SMKN 1 Nusa Penida. However, this training presents different material, including Art Towel, Honeymoon Set up, and Snack Wraping. This material is a hard skill that must be possessed by hoteliers, especially those in the Housekeeping department. It is not uncommon for tourists to stay at a hotel to celebrate their special moments, usually by ordering room services such as Art Towels, Honeymoon Set up, Birthday decoration. In the Art Towel training, participants are taught all forms of folds such as swans, monkeys, elephants, birds, and various other shapes. Next, in the Honeymoon Set up training, participants were taught to assemble the folds of the towel, and were also taught to write using flower arrangements which added a romantic impression. Finally, in the snack wrapping training, participants were taught to assemble snacks/snacks shaped like a flower bouquet which later could also be mixed and matched with honeymoon set up decorations. The conclusion obtained from this service activity is that participants have more knowledge regarding Art Towel, Honeymoon Set Up, and Snack wrap, because in the curriculum, there are no Art Towel, Honeymoon Set Up, and Snack wrap items.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan di Prama Sanur Beach Bali. Waktu penelitian dimulai dari bulan Maret hingga Agustus 2021. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 50 orang karyawan tetap. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linier berganda, uji F, uji t. Hasil uji F menunjukkan F hitung 21,213 > 3,20 F tabel dengan sign = 0,000 < 0,05 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa motivasi dan lingkungan kerja memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan secara simultan terhadap kinerja karyawan di Prama Sanur Beach Bali. Hasil uji t menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan secara parsial antara motivasi terhadap kinerja karyawan di Prama Sanur Beach Bali dengan nilai t hitung = 2,024 dengan sign 0,049 < 0,05. Untuk lingkungan kerja menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan secara parsial terhadap kinerja karyawan di Prama Sanur Beach Bali dengan nilai t hitung = 4,494 dengan sign 0,00 < 0,05. Analisis koefisien determinasi (R2 ) sebesar 0,474, hal ini menunjukkan 47,4% kinerja karyawan di Prama Sanur Beach Bali dipengaruhi oleh motivasi dan lingkungan kerja, sedangkan sisanya 52,6% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. This study aims to determine the effect of motivation and work environment on employee performance at Prama Sanur Beach Bali. This study starts from March to August 2021. Abstract

Adiwana Arya Villa di Ubud memiliki Wayang Restoran. Departemen layanan F&B selalu melakukan briefing sebelum melakukan jobdesk masing-masing untuk menjaga kualitas layanan dan keberadaan restoran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan tingkat kepuasan pelanggan di Wayang Restaurant di Adiwana Arya Villa dipengaruhi oleh kualitas pelayanan pramusaji dan fasilitas yang tersedia. Studi ini dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif yang menggunakan statistik. Data dikumpulkan melalui pengisian kuesioner dari 99 orang yang makan di Wayang Restoran Adiwana Arya Villa. Analisis data menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor kualitas layanan pramusaji sangat memengaruhi kepuasan pelanggan. Nilai t-tabel sebesar 1,985 kurang dari nilai t-hitung sebesar 2,134, menunjukkan hal ini. Karena itu, hipotesis kedua (H2) tidak valid. Secara keseluruhan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa dalam model penelitian ini, kualitas pelayanan pramusaji dan fasilitas secara bersama-sama memiliki efek positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan. Kualitas pelayanan pramusaji (X1) dan fasilitas (X2) dapat bertanggung jawab atas sekitar 56,2% variasi dalam kepuasan pelanggan, menurut koefisien persegi adjustable R (adj. R2) sebesar 0,562. Komponen tambahan yang tidak dimasukkan dalam model penelitian ini menyumbang 43,8% dari total variasi. Ubud's Adiwana Arya Villa features a Wayang Restaurant. To ensure service quality and the restaurant's existence, the F&B service section always performs briefings before carrying out their separate work responsibilities. The goal of this study is to determine if the quality of waiter service and the amenities offered impact the degree of customer satisfaction at Wayang Restaurant in Adiwana Arya Villa. This study was carried out utilizing a quantitative descriptive approach using statistics. Data was gathered by having 99 individuals who ate at Wayang Restaurant Adiwana Arya Villa fill out questionnaires. Multiple linear regression is used to analyze data. According to the study's findings, the waitress's service quality has a significant impact on client satisfaction. This is demonstrated by the t-count value of 2.134, which is bigger than the t-table value of 1.985. As a result, the second hypothesis (H2) is invalid. Overall, it is possible to infer that in this study model, waiter service quality and facility quality have a favorable and substantial influence on customer satisfaction. According to the adjustable square coefficient R (adj. R2) of 0.562, waiter service quality (X1) and amenities (X2) may account for approximately 56.2% of the variance in customer satisfaction. Other variables not included in this study accounted for 43.8% of the overall variance.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui secara parsial dan simultan pengaruh motivasi dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan di Hotel Adiwana Suweta. Lokasi penelitian ini berada di Hotel Adiwana Suweta. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 49 responden. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi uji hipotesis klasik, analisis regresi linier berganda, uji koefisien determinasi, uji F, dan uji t. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diketahui bahwa motivasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, serta secara simultan motivasi dan lingkungan kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan.Besarnya pengaruh motivasi dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan adalah sebesar 51,7%. Saran peneliti adalah agar pihak Hotel Adiwana Suweta memberikan penghargaan kepada karyawan berprestasi, baik dalam bentuk bonus maupun kenaikan pangkat, melakukan penataan ruang kerja yang lebih baik, serta menyelenggarakan pelatihan bagi karyawan. The original objective of this study was to determine partially and simultaneously the effects of motivation and work environment on employee performance at the Adiwana Suweta Hotel. The location of this research is Adiwana Suweta Hotel. The sample used in this study consisted of 49 respondents. The data analysis techniques used in this study were the classic hypothesis test, multiple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination test, F-test, and t-test.From the results of the research, it can be seen that motivation has a significant positive effect on employee performance, the work environment has a significant positive effect on employee performance, and at the same time, motivation and work environment have a significant effect on employee performance. The impact of motivation and work environment on employee performance is 51.7%.The researcher suggests that Adiwana Suweta Hotel should provide awards to outstanding employees, both in the form of bonuses and promotions, arrange workspaces properly, and conduct training.
