Abstract

Poverty in developing countries is a fairly complicated problem even though several developing countries have succeeded in carrying out development in terms of production and national income. This study aims to determine the effect of the dependency ratio, the effect of government spending on education and health on poverty in the Parepare City. This research method is a quantitative descriptive study that uses secondary data in the form of a time series from the poverty data of the Parepare City for 2014-2019 period as well as government spending in the education and health sectors of the Parepare City for 2014-2019 period. The analytical technique used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis using the SPSS 16 application.

Abstract

Local economic innovation is a strategic effort to optimize regional potential in order to improve community welfare. Through the development of leading products based on local wisdom, communities can create added value and expand market access. Thus, local economic innovation plays an important role in strengthening regional competitiveness while promoting sustainable economic growth. This study aims to analyze the effect of the dependency ratio, government expenditure on education, and government expenditure on health on the poverty level in Parepare City, as well as to explore the role of local economic innovation in poverty alleviation. The method used is descriptive quantitative with secondary time series data from 2014–2019. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression with SPSS 16. The results show that the dependency ratio has a positive and significant effect on poverty levels, while government expenditure on education and health has a negative and significant effect on poverty levels. In addition, local economic innovations such as strengthening MSMEs, utilizing regional leading sector potentials, and entrepreneurship training based on local resources have proven to play an important role in creating community economic independence and accelerating sustainable poverty reduction. Therefore, poverty alleviation strategies in Parepare City need to be integrated with innovative and participatory local economic development approaches to inclusively improve community welfare.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the implementation of the principles and procedures for the use of teaching methods as well as the types of teaching methods, the advantages and disadvantages of using methods in the learning process, as well as targeted achievements. The method used is a qualitative method. The type of research used is a case study obtained through interviews. The subjects in this study were physics teachers at SMAN 11 Jambi City. The results of this study indicate that there are several types of teaching methods in the classroom such as the demonstration method, the experimental method, the inquiry method, and the discovery method. Where the teacher always makes lesson plans for each semester. Using learning media that can attract students' interest, managing literature, learning resources from books, and other media that are in accordance with learning materials. As well as having teacher skills in managing classes through teaching methods.Abstrak: Penilitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan prinsip-prinsip dan prosedur penggunaan metode mengajar setra jenis-jenis metode mengajar, kelebihan-kekurangan dalam penggunaan metode dalam proses pembelajaran, serta capaian yang tepat sasaran. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualtitatif jenis penelitian yang dipakai adalah study kasus yang diperoleh melalui wawancara. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah Guru fisika SMAN 11 Kota Jambi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan ada beberapa jenis metode mengajar di kelas seperti metode demonstrasi, metode eksperimen, metode inquiry, dan metode discovery. Di mana guru selalu membuat RPP untuk setiap satu semester. Menggunakan media pembelajaran yang dapat menarik minat siswa, mengelola literatur, sumber belajar dari buku , dan media lainnya yang sesuai dengan materi pembelajaran. Serta memiliki keterampilan guru dalam mengelola kelas melalui metode mengajar.
