Abstract

The Environmental Agency of DKI Jakarta Province is a government institution engaged in the field of environmental protection and management, including cleanliness and waste management. This agency plays a significant role in planning and is responsible for environmental planning, environmental impact assessment, supervision of business activities affecting the environment, and providing public services related to the environment. This study aims to analyze and determine the influence of Work Motivation and Work Discipline on Employee Performance at the Environmental Agency of DKI Jakarta Province. This research utilized a questionnaire distributed to employees in the general section of the agency. The collected data from the questionnaires were tabulated and subsequently processed using SPSS version 27. The results of this study indicate that Work Motivation has a significant effect on employee performance at the Environmental Agency of DKI Jakarta Province, Work Discipline also significantly affects employee performance, and both Work Motivation and Work Discipline simultaneously have a significant influence on employee performance.

Abstract

Literasi merupakan keterampilan fundamental dalam menghadapi tantangan era digital, khususnya bagi masyarakat yang berperan aktif dalam pengelolaan lingkungan sosial seperti pengurus RT/RW. Literasi tidak hanya mencakup kemampuan membaca dan menulis, tetapi juga kemampuan memahami, mengelola, serta memanfaatkan informasi secara kritis. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi melalui pelatihan membaca ekstensif bagi pengurus RT 05/RW 02 Rawa Mekar, Serpong, Tangerang. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi penyuluhan mengenai urgensi literasi di era digital, praktik membaca ekstensif menggunakan beragam bahan bacaan cetak dan digital, serta diskusi interaktif untuk memperkuat pemahaman dan kemampuan analitis peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan minat baca, kesadaran literasi, serta kemampuan peserta dalam memahami dan mengelola informasi secara lebih kritis. Selain itu, pelatihan ini mendorong terbentuknya kebiasaan membaca berkelanjutan yang dapat diterapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari maupun dalam pelaksanaan tugas pengelolaan lingkungan sosial. Dengan demikian, pelatihan membaca ekstensif terbukti menjadi strategi efektif dalam memperkuat literasi masyarakat dan mendukung peningkatan kualitas kepemimpinan lokal berbasis pengetahuan.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between strategic transformation and performance enhancement at ASDP Indonesia Ferry during the 2017–2024 period. Using secondary data obtained from audited financial statements, annual reports, and publicly disclosed corporate strategies, the research adopts a longitudinal descriptive quantitative approach. The analysis focuses on key strategic initiatives, including operational restructuring, digital service transformation, route optimization, and asset management improvements. The findings reveal that ASDP’s transformation efforts are positively associated with improvements in financial performance, cost efficiency, service reliability, and overall operational effectiveness. In particular, digitalization initiatives and route rationalization contributed to better resource utilization and enhanced customer service quality. These results indicate that leadership-driven strategic transformation plays a crucial role in strengthening organizational performance and competitiveness within the maritime transport industryHowever, this study is limited by its reliance on secondary data and lack of primary stakeholder perspectives. Future research is recommended to incorporate qualitative insights and comparative analysis across similar state-owned enterprises. Overall, this study contributes to the literature on state-owned enterprise transformation and offers practical implications for policymakers and managers in improving performance sustainability.
