Abstract

In construction projects, delays often occur, causing increased costs and delays in completion. This study analyzes project acceleration with the crashing method on the Untirta Rectorate Building Construction Project, comparing the alternatives of 3-hour overtime and work Shifts. The goal is to determine the optimal project duration and cost. The analysis shows that there are 14 jobs on the critical path. The results of acceleration with 3-hour overtime resulted in a project cost of Rp3,104,007,500 with a duration of 431 days, while work Shifts require Rp1,280,228,250 with a duration of 427 days. The total slope cost for 3-hour overtime is Rp193,244,923.38, and work Shifts Rp36,611,338.93. Alternative cost comparison shows that overtime has direct costs of Rp49,158,386,780 and indirect costs of Rp3,971,376,850, while Shift work has direct costs of Rp47,334,607,530 and indirect costs of Rp3,962,700,980. Shift work is more efficient in terms of cost and time.

Abstract

In this study, the economic feasibility of the 10% discount promotion on weekdays during the off-season at Ranca Tales Mini Waterboom Swimming Pool in Serang City was assessed. Cost-benefit analysis (CBA) was used as the quantitative approach, and data were obtained through documentation, interviews, and observation. Results showed a 40% increase in the number of visitors; in three months, revenue increased from Rp13,200,000 to Rp17,820,000, with promotional costs of Rp1,800,000 deducted, which resulted in a net benefit of Rp2,820,000 and a Benefit-Cost Ratio (BCR) value of 2.57. In addition to increasing financial returns, this strategy increases customer loyalty, employee motivation, and company competitiveness. As a result, a similar promotion is recommended for the next quiet period.

Abstract

Project completion delays are a common problem that can affect the entire project work, to prevent delays, planning with several control devices is needed. Planning a project helps organizations understand the relationship between a project's activities and how they relate to the project as a whole, Awan Car Wash and Cafe experienced a significant surge in the number of customers, causing the existing capacity to be inadequate. One of the problems in the Awan Car Wash and Cafe laundry room is the limited washing capacity which causes long queues and longer service times. The purpose of the study was to obtain a critical path that could be used to plan the construction of the Awan Car Wash steam place in a structured and efficient manner. The research method used the Critical Path Method, The results of the study were that the construction project had a critical path duration of 19 weeks, this result was obtained before processing using the Critical Path Method, Based on data processing using the Critical Path Method, the critical path duration was 14 weeks. Periodic evaluation is highly recommended so that project progress continues to be monitored and problems can be addressed immediately before they develop.
