Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Influence of Local Original Income (X1) Unemployment (X2) and Gini Ratio on Poverty Level in West Nusa Tenggara Province in 2019-2023. The data used are secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of NTB Province, and analyzed using the panel data regression method. The results of the study partially show that local original income (X1) has a positive and insignificant effect on the poverty level (Y) of West Nusa Tenggara Province in 2019-2023. unemployment (X2) has a negative and significant effect on the poverty level (Y) of West Nusa Tenggara Province in 2019-2023 and the Gini ratio (X3) has a positive and significant effect on the poverty level (Y). While simultaneously the variables of local original income (X1) unemployment (X2) and the Gini ratio simultaneously affect the poverty level (Y) of West Nusa Tenggara Province in 2019-2023.

Abstract

Infrastructure as one of the main supporting factors is believed to have an important role in driving economic growth, both through increasing accessibility and the quality of public services. This study aims to analyze the effect of infrastructure including roads, clean water, education, and health on economic growth in 10 districts/cities in West Nusa Tenggara Province (NTB) during the period 2019–2023. The method used is a quantitative approach with panel data analysis techniques, which combine time series data and cross-regional data (cross section). Data were obtained from the NTB Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and various supporting literature. The analysis was carried out using a panel data regression model with the help of Eviews 10 software. The selection of the best model was carried out through the Chow, Hausman, and Lagrange Multiplier Tests. Classical assumption tests and hypothesis tests (t-test and F-test) were carried out to ensure the validity of the model. The results of the study showed that clean water and education infrastructure had a positive and significant effect on economic growth, while road and health infrastructure did not show a significant effect. However, simultaneously, all infrastructure variables together have a significant effect on economic growth. The regression model used has an Adjusted R2 value of 0.978966, which indicates that 97.8% of the variation in economic growth can be explained by the infrastructure variables analyzed.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze wages, work experience, age, marital status and the presence of toddlers as determinants that influence the labor force participation of female bamboo weaving craftsmen in Taman Sari village, Gunung Sari sub-district, West Lombok regency. This type of research is quantitative explanatory. The data in this study are primary data with data collection methods using the census method. The population in this study were 34 female bamboo weaving craftsmen in Taman Sari village. The analysis model used in this study was multiple linear regression. The results of the study showed that the wage variable partially had a significant and positive effect on women's work time, the work experience and marital status variables partially did not have a significant and positive effect on women's work time, the age and presence of toddlers variables partially did not have a significant and negative effect on women's work time. The results of the study simultaneously showed that the variables of wages, work experience, age, marital status and the presence of toddlers together had a positive and significant effect on women's work time. It is hoped that the government can facilitate job training programs so that workers, especially female craftsmen, have specific skills and are motivated to develop their capacity.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of education level, age, and work experience on employee work productivity at the Selaparang District Office, Mataram City. The population in this study were all employees at the Selaparang District Office, Mataram City, totaling 31 people, consisting of 20 PNS, 1 PPPK, and 10 Non ASN. This study used the census method as a data collection method, with data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires and literature studies. The analysis techniques used were the Likert scale and Eviews 12 software, with multiple linear regression analysis methods, determination coefficient test (R²), t test (partial), and F test (simultaneous). The results showed that the variables of education level, age, and work experience simultaneously had a significant effect on employee work productivity at the Selaparang District Office, Mataram City. The coefficient of determination (R2) value was 0.62, which means that the three independent variables in the model can explain the variation in work productivity by 62%, while the remaining 38% was influenced by other variables outside this research model.

Abstract

The imbalance between the number of workforce and the amount of job opportunities has resulted in the emergence of unemployment problems for educated workers. This study aims to analyze the influence of variables of education level, age, marital status and gender on the waiting time for educated workers in Mataram City. Data collection was carried out by means of questionnaires distributed directly to educated workers who had completed D3 and S1 education in Mataram City to a sample of 100 respondents. The analysis method used in this study is multiple regression analysis. The results of the study indicate that the variable of education level has a negative and significant effect on the waiting time for educated workers in Mataram City. The variables of age and gender have a positive and significant effect on the waiting time for educated workers in Mataram City. The variable of marital status does not have a positive and significant effect on the waiting time for educated workers in Mataram City. The variables of education level, age, marital status and gender together have a positive or negative and significant effect on the waiting time for educated workers in Mataram City.

Abstract

This study investigates the factors influencing labor productivity in the coconut oil industry in Kekeran Hamlet, Batu Layar Village, West Lombok Regency. Utilizing a quantitative approach, the research focuses on four independent variables—wages, age, work experience, and gender—while labor productivity serves as the dependent variable. Data were collected through surveys, interviews, and documentation involving 52 randomly selected respondents from a population of 108 workers. The analysis employed Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and Principal Component Analysis (PCA) to assess the significance and contribution of each factor. The results show that wages are the most dominant factor affecting productivity, followed by gender differences. The study highlights the importance of adequate compensation and gender-sensitive approaches to enhance productivity in local resource-based industries. Recommendations for future research include the use of Common Factor Analysis for deeper exploration and comparison.
