Abstract

Geres Village is one of the areas located in Labuhan Haji District, East Lombok. Garbage scattered in every ditch, poor environmental sanitation, and dusty and sandy soil types cause environmental problems in this kelurahan. Therefore, socialization and training are held regarding the processing of organic and inorganic waste from household waste. This aims to increase knowledge related to the processing of organic and non-organic waste from household waste, so that it can reduce the negative impact of environmental pollution as well as improve the economy of the Geres Village community. The results of these activities show that it can increase community knowledge regarding the processing of organic waste into compost and non-organic waste into products of economic value such as trash cans, key toys, and flower pots. With this socialization and training, it is hoped that any knowledge shared can be properly conveyed and applied.

Abstract

Face recognition still faces challenges in identifying faces covered by masks and helmets with open visors, such as those commonly used by motorcyclists, especially when entering parking areas. To improve the accuracy of face recognition in these conditions, this study proposes nano and small versions of the YOLOv11 modification, which is an internal version. Modifications are made to the neck section and the DySample module is added in place of the UpSample module to improve the model's capabilities. Experiments were conducted using a self-generated dataset consisting of 50 classes. The results show that the modified nano version achieves 99.3% accuracy at the same mAP50 as YOLOv11n and YOLOv12n. At mAP50-95, it shows a 1.6% accuracy improvement compared to YOLOv11n and YOLOv12n with 75% accuracy. Meanwhile, the modified small version achieved an accuracy improvement of 1.3% and 1.2% compared to YOLOv11n and YOLOv12n, respectively, reaching 76.1% on mAP50-95, although the accuracy on mAP50 remained the same as YOLOv11n and 0.1% superior to YOLOv12n. However, recall and precision did not show significant improvement in both as well as the increase in model parameters. However, the model is still in the nano and small versions. Therefore, the model can be implemented on edge devices. This research is important for the field of computer vision, especially in the context of face recognition. The contribution of this research is the improvement of the accuracy of the mAP50-95 metric in eye-based face recognition, which is relevant for intelligent security systems with limited resources.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain a description of student errors in solving arithmetic sequences and series in class XI IPA 7 of SMA Negeri 3 Palu. This type of research is descriptive research. The subjects of this study were 2 students with the most errors taken from 31 students of class XI IPA 7. The errors in this study were divided into three according to the error analysis according to Najiyah, namely conceptual errors, principle errors and operational errors. The data in this study were collected by means of tests and interviews. The data analysis techniques in this study were data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed several errors experienced by students in solving arithmetic sequence and series problems, namely: (1) Conceptual errors, namely students did not replace Un with U5, (2) Principle errors, namely students made mistakes in determining the formula and did not know the formula to be used in solving the problem and did not know and did not write the final conclusion, (3) Operational errors, namely students made mistakes in calculating
